BUG BLOG HOP TIME...........................OH SO FUN

I love the end of the month BBTB bug blog hops...you get to see all of the other little details of the amazing design team projects AND......you get to get some scrapping goodies...and we all love scrapping goodies...............so........without further delay, the challenge this week was to use the COUPLE cut from THE GOING PLACES cartridge....When I first assigned this cartridge for this week, I really didn't know what the heck I was going to do with this cut....but then I got my brain going and WHAT DO YA KNOW...I love this cut....it can be used for lots of different things....which you will soon find out from checking out all of the awesome designs from the team...you can view them all here................I used some yummy KC & Company paper on my project...I so love all of KC & Companies papers....and then I used one of the new Cutting Cafe sets called CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WEDDING word circle.....you gotta check that new word circle out...it will be great for making a card or two for upcoming weddings...

BUT.....that's not all, I fell in love with this cut so much that I decided to use the frame of the COUPLE cut and add directly on top of the pattern paper on another card...again I used the CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WEDDING word circle....in the corner of the card...I just reduced it very small...

Okay now back to the hop info...leave me a comment here on my blog BEFORE this coming Wednesday night and I will randomly choose 1 winner to be able to choose ANY 4 sets from The Cutting Cafe.....also did you know that I recently designed a set called I HAVE FAITH IN YOU that is completely free until the end of August...well click here for details...AND here to read what inspired me to create this set...NOW IT IS TIME TO CONTINUE THE HOP.....I am going to send you to the ever to TALENTED Penny Shuberg blog...this girl totally rocks...and if ya happen to get stuck in the hop, here is a list of all of the girls that are in the hop, in this order...enjoy:

A FEW SUNDAYS AGO.............................

I wasn't sure if I was going to attend church or not..I must admit that when I know my pastor isn't going to be there I sometimes am not as excited to go....Lord forgive me for that......but I ended up going anyways and am so glad that I did......the message was awesome...now others there may not have taken the message the same way I did, but hey we all seem to hear different things and take different things that is said to us differently....as long as we all come out feeling blessed one way or another or receive something from the message that leaves us with wanting to do something awesome, grand, amazing for others, I say that is awesome....anyhoo as I said, the message was awesome...the Assistant Pastor spoke about how we should all try to give a little more of ourselves daily, forgive others...not mainly for them, but forgiving for yourself so that you can move on...He talked about giving your energy, time, a listening ear.....having faith...and on and on and on....So I thought to myself.......I try to give 100 percent to my family daily, although I could probably give a bit more to my children and I will surely work on that more, but I wanted to give in an area that I feel the Lord has blessed me in...and that is crafting....so that is how I came up with one of the latest sets over at The Cutting Cafe called I HAVE FAITH IN YOU.......It is just a small set of printable stamps (12 sentiments) that all have to do with giving, being there for others......I decided that since God put this on my heart to do, that I wanted to give it for FREE for a specific amount of time............so if you click on this link, you will see the entire set that I am giving for free until the end of August....I hope you will enjoy the set and perhaps use it to make something special for someone............Here are a few cards that I made using the set....I reduced the size of the FRAME SHAPED CARD because I wanted these to be small cards....something that I could just leave on a desk or maybe sneak into one of my family or friends kitchen and have them walk upon it...when I know they may not be having a good day.........I picked up some of that yummy new Basic Grey June Bug paper and cut out the animals on one sheet....then I used my swiss dots embossing folders.....

I also have found a new love and passion for creating even more cards....I had at one point started to get a bit burnt out in making a bunch of cards and then just having them stack up in my crafting space....A few I have submitted to one particular company that I often get published with and the others I hadn't done anything with them for one reason or another......well now I have this burning desire to send out little cards to my family and blog friends....for no particular reason at all... instead of just holding on to them or waiting to see if a particular magazine is going to have a call for a particular card....I mean don't get me wrong it is awesome to see your work in a magazine or book and I am so honored to have been published several times, BUT that isn't my main focus anymore... I would perfer to put a smile on someone's face.....JUST BECAUSE...I have decided that I am going to first send out all of my cards that I have made up to this point, i might check to see if there is a call for any of them RIGHT NOW and if I don't here back in a timely fashion I will be sending out immediately..............I have met so many awesome, wonderful people in blogland that I would love to just send a sweet little thinking of you card to and I am going to do just that....SO........if I happen to ask ya for your address, be on the look out for a card in the mail one day......hugs and blessings...

OH FUDGE.............................

Another OH FUDGE card...............can't get enough of this title...so fun for ice creams...........this project is for my Pazzles team.....The team was assigned to use this fun canvas stuff from Ranger ink....wasn't sure if I wanted to cut shapes out of it using my pazzles or draw on it....so I decided to draw...I choose an awesome font called engineer in my Pazzles software and drew the words OH FUDGE ALL over the back....using a brown pen in the machine....fun fun fun....then I designed the Popsicle...i used some awesome doodlebug inc...brown glitter paper to cut the Popsicle out...the little tag reads YUMMY FUDGESICLE..................

BUTTERFLY KISSES.................

I have always loved the phrase BUTTERFLY KISSES.....such a darling phrase that I decided to design a few BUTTERFLY STAMPS for the Cutting Cafe using this phrase among a few others....I have just released 6 new sets over at the Cutting Cafe...if you love BUTTERFLIES, I think you might like the new sets...and if you LOVE boxes, you will surely love the new NESTING BOXES SET....
This little project here uses the new set called NESTING BOXES....it comes with 3 boxes that will nest inside one another (without the inner lids) or you can just stack on top of one another like I did with this project.....I topped the nesting boxes off with a circle tag with the words BUTTERFLY KISSES...(as I am sure you already know what is going into these little boxes..yulp candy kisses).....the BUTTERFLY KISSES on the circle tag come for another one of the new sets called BUTTERFLY KISSES BACKGROUNDS....fun fun fun...and see the teal colored butterfly on the circle tag...........WELL that is from another new set called SOCIAL BUTTERFLIES.So as I said there are many new sets over at the Cafe site...and many of the designers from the site will be giving away some of the sets for free later this week...so keep checking the site for that.....The GORGEOUS paper that I used on these boxes comes from my monthly kit called SCARLET LIME...i love love Christy's kits....

If you are here for the current BBTB BUG BLOG HOP that is going on right now, click here and then come back and see some new releases from the Cutting Cafe.....

Okay on with today's post.............HAPPY BIRTHDAY 40 different ways......well not exactly, but this card uses both of the 2 new releases from the Cutting Cafe....One set is called HAPPY BIRTHDAY 40 WAYS...........which as 40 different happy birthday words in different fonts....totally fab.....this set will surely have everything you need for that perfect HAPPY BIRTHDAY SENTIMENT...

The second new release is a HAPPY BIRTHDAY BACKGROUND STAMP.....it features a really small script.....perfect for layer behind other stuff....
I decided to play along and base my card on this weeks INSPIRATIONAL CARD SKETCHES....this is a first for me, but I am already loving these sketches on this site.....As for the card itself, I fell in love with this black dotted paper by SEI....the pink scallop was done on my bosskut machine.....and the adorable strawberry is from KC company...
