Hello everyone....today I want to share a two boxes that I did using the CANDY SENTIMENTS SETS from the Cutting Cafe....There are 10 different Candy sentiments sets...
I made these two boxes using the TOOTSIE CANDY SENTIMENT SET and the BOSTON BAKED BEANS CANDY SENTIMENTS.For this TOOTSIE ROLL one, I used some matching patter paper and wrapped it around the Tootsie Roll. I also used the SQUARE BOX WITH A FRONT WINDOW.....

PAPER BAG GIFT AND VALENTINE CARD

Hello everyone, I have two projects to share with ya today.....first up it is inspiration time over at the Cafe's Blog, we are featuring projects using the LONG SENTIMENT TAG SET...
I decided to print directly onto a paper bag.....Need I say I love the way it looks BUT it took forever for me to get the image good...I think it was because a few of my bags just weren't that smooth...anyhoo, I love the way it came out.I ended up using the FEB 14 set for the heart plant image and then I use my Bosskut to cut out a heart right in the image.....I added some clear plastic so that you could see what was in the bag...which is cookies...the tag is part of the LONG SENTIMENT TAG SET....it is on special until Thursday...

Up next is my Valentine's Day card for my hubby....wwwwwwwwooooooooo can't believe I actually have it done early this year.....again I used the FEB 14 set.

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME..............

Since I have posted....much as happened since my last post...The biggest thing is that my computer crashed which caused such a MESS to say the least. BUT I am back up and running and AM WISER from the whole process.

Okay Valentine's Day is just around the corner...YULP IT IS....and there has been lots of fun stuff released over at the Cafe....this is a long post so bare with me....

Hello everyone and happy Thursday....one a few more days until Christmas, well actually 10 days.............. but still that is around the corner....This time of the year is very busy for me...My hubby normally has loads of gifts to buy for his managers and we also like to give the people in his office a little something as well...nothing big, just something to let them know we love them....Soooooo recently I released a new LOOPY LOOPY BOW - FLOWER over at the Cafe and decided to add them to a few of the packages for his co-workers.............I LOVE LOVE LOVE how them came out...There is actually two different LOOPY LOOPY BOW - FLOWERS templates and they are SUPER EASY to make. I did one of each...there is one with holes in it and one without...I think I will next time make some out of fabric..The little tags on the packages are from the CHRISTMAS MINI WORDS....You can click here to see a video on how easy they are to put together...hugs

Before I get to my NEW YEARS cards, I have this sweet little SNOW GLOBE SHAPED CARD I wanta share with ya.....this set from the Cafe comes with several optional sentiments you can place around the globe...The snowman is from the CHRISTMAS COLORED BASIC IMAGES and the snowflake is from the CHRISTMAS BASIC SHAPES.....

Can you believe New Years is right around the corner..... I can't believe it, this year just flew by.....
I have two cards for you today using some new New Year files from The Cutting Cafe.
First up is this WINE GLASS SHAPED CARD.....this can be used for NEW YEARS plus Weddings and more....

The white part is done in glitter as well as the black...I left this simple. The glass also has pearls added to it....
Next is this circle shaped card that I cut using my nestabilities...to get all of the different colors, I printed the circle word from the ITS NEW YEAR TIME set a few times....

Hello everyone, I have a super easy project to share for those last minute little gifts for family and friends...

This pocket was made using the CHRISTMAS POCKETS and the CANDY CANE BACKGROUNDS, the little tag is from the CHRISTMAS MINI WORDS....super easy
I found these yummy sour candy canes and I think they will be perfect for some of my kids friends.

Today me and the following ladies: Mika, Jennifer, Ira, Christina and Lori have some fun Holiday projects to share with you........AND we got some fun prizes to...

I was sooooo excited when Lori asked me to join in on the fun cause I already knew I needed to make a whole bunch of Christmas goodie bags using items from the Cutting Cafe for my daughters friends and her and Ben's teachers...

I made a series of different boxes out of different papers...I was gonna do all of the different boxes in the same papers, BUT I opt in using different papers since they were going to both male and female.

First up is this LIFE SAVER BOX...it fits 4 packs of Life Savers perfectly. I also used the CHRISTMAS COLORED BASIC IMAGES.

Next is this PENCIL BOX...the teacher tag is from the SCHOOL MERRY CHRISTMAS TO YOU SET

Then we have this CANDY CANE BOX HOLDER....it will hold those regular size candy canes...I need to buy more to fill up the box...it also features a circle word tag from the CHRISTMAS COLORED BASIC IMAGES.

Next is this COOKIE HOLDER.....I think we may end up making a few of these for friends....I also used the HUGE MERRY CHRISTMAS CIRCLE WORD.

And finally is this CHRISTMAS MILK CARTON with a snowflake cut out...this set has several different Christmas cut-outs on it. The Let is snow tag is from the CHRISTMAS MINI WORDS.

MORE CHRISTMAS GOODIES

Hello everyone, I know my blog may not seem like I have been doing any crafting, BUT I have been busy doing LOTS of crafting....just no time post............ANYHOO, I have a few more Christmas goodies for you........

Up first is a set of cards I made using the CHRISTMAS SENTIMENT SHAPE SET....this is a fun set of Christmas shapes with Christmas lyrics on them...I decided to do all of the backgrounds in glitter white paper on a black card fold.....

AND.........here is how they are all wrapped up.....I made this vellum type of pocket using the FUN WITH POCKETS SET.................I LOVE LOVE LOVE this set from the Cutting Cafe...I will be using these pockets for all kinds of craft projects.

Here are all of the cards in the pocket.

Up next is the front cover of my DECEMBER DAILY book...I decided to put a pocket on the front using the FUN WITH POCKETS again and all of the papers inside are from the Tim Holtz's Christmas pack...which I love cause I love me some KRAFT looking papers...I used several items from the DECEMBER DAILY set.

Last but not least are a few die cut items I made using the CHRISTMAS BASIC SHAPES set...I had originally planned to make all 30 of the shapes in the set, but TIME got away from me....so here are just 3....it is a awesome set with lots of fun basic shapes for Christmas....

MORE CHRISTMAS FUN..............

Sorry I haven't posted in awhile...I have actually been very busy creating loads of stuff for the Cutting Cafe store....I have lots to share so I am gonna just post each project with the sets I used:

First up is this sweet little card using the CHRISTMAS ELISHA JEAN SET....there is loads of glitter on her outfit and hat

Up next is this CHRISTMAS FUN CARD with a reindeer cutout...there is a total 12 cutouts in this set...THERE IS ALSO A SPECIAL GOING ON RIGHT NOW FOR THIS SET....CLICK HERE.

Another card using the same set...the pink bulbs are actually fabric....the joy is from the CHRISTMAS MINI WORDS.And finally from the same CHRISTMAS CARD FUN set is this JOLLY....the JOLLY is glitter. Then I just added the Reindeer from the above card...
Next there is a new set of ASSORTED CARD FOLDS over at the Cafe...they all come with matching envelops...I cut out all of the different card folds and envelopes and put them in this CARD POCKET..I love this CARD POCKETS...I added a smaller pocket to the front and added some HANDMADE TAGS IN IT....

That CREATE circle was perfect...Underneath the CREATE word it states -something beautiful-.....I am giving this to my sister to help her get a start on her Christmas cards....those mittens came from the CHRISTMAS POCKETS...

IT'S STARTING TO LOOKING LIKE CHRISTMAS.....

Hello everyone, recently there were a whole bunch of Christmas treat boxes and shaped cards added to the Cafe....and I made a little projects for each new release....I am loving these treat boxes...so easy to put together and they make the perfect little extra gift for someone...

First up is this CHRISTMAS TREE TRIO SHAPED CARD....I also used the CHRISTMAS MINI WORDS for the FROM SANTA tag.Next is this CHRISTMAS TREE TREAT BOX....I wrapped this box with some fun ribbon and then added some pretty green rhinestones.Next is this SNOWMAN TREAT BOX and SNOWMAN SHAPED CARD...Next is this adorable PEPPERMINT CANDY TREAT BOX.....this is my favorite...the tag reads, This peppermint candy was MINT just for you....Finally we have a PRESENT TREAT BOX...it can be used for Christmas and birthdays....Well that is it everyone......I will be linking these up to I MADE IT MYSELF MONDAYS...be sure to check out all of the other projects....hugs

Yulp I think I have went TIC TAC crazy....there are two more new tic tac boxes over at the Cutting Cafe....I found some cute blue and pink ones the other day.....LOVE THEM...okay first up is this one for Christmas..it comes with 6 different cutouts:I used the snowflake cutout on this one and the tic tacs are blue...the little tag is from the CHRISTMAS MINI WORDS....the set also comes with a bell that can be used for WEDDING FAVOR....cute cute cute...

I think I just have found one of the gifts I am gonna give out this Christmas to my kids teachers....these cookie holders...This is a new release over at the Cutting Cafe. There are two different sets:

YOU IS KIND YOU IS SMART YOU IS IMPORTANT...........

I soooooooooooo love The Help movie....One of my all time favorite this year...I saw it within the first week it came out....I loved it so much that I recently created a file over at the Cafe dedicated to that quote. The set is called YOU IS... I wanted to make something really different using the set and here are 2 things that I came up with:
Baby Onesie T-shirt....I used some iron-on transfer using the color image in the set....I just mirrored it in my software and then printed the image onto the iron transfer...then all I did was iron it onto the onesie This was my second attempt though, becuase the first one I did had more of a yellow trimming around the image..this one has just a slight tint of yellow. One can barely see it though...Then I added some rhinestones using my Irock and a bow with a crochet flower.

SINCE I don't know anyone that is having a baby girl, the first person that lives in the US that wants this, I will send it to you for free....(smile)....I only have the one. fabriccutups@prodigy.net

Next I made this box using the 8 by 5 inch box with dividers...I covered the top with another image from the set....be sure to check out the Cafe's blog this week...The team is featuring projects using boxes from the Cafe...Fun Stuff...My second project using this set is a pillow...
I first sprayed a piece of paper with some Krylon Easy - Tack and then cut out a piece of fabric and put it directly on the sprayed paper...trimmed the edges and ran it through my printer...EASY PEASY...YOU CAN ALSO VIEW ANOTHER TUTORIAL HERE..The hardest part about this whole pillow was the ruffles I made...OMG OMG, those drove me crazy...I probably shouldn't have made the ruffle so wide...I again added some rhinestones to the pillow and some ribbon with a rose on each corner.

And lastly is this COFFIN TREAT BOX....I used up some of my HALLOWEEN AND FALL BASIC SHAPES on the front of the box.I am entering these projects in the I MADE IT MYSELF MONDAYS...be sure to check out what the other people did...it is a great site for inspiration.

Hello everyone, just a quick post for me today....We have two new Fall and Halloween basic shapes and image sets just released over at the Cafe so I made a box and a whole bunch of embellishments using the set....I am hoping to work on a Halloween mini and I will add these to the book over time....

and here is the box I made to put them in....nothing fancy since it is going to me..(smile)

TIC TAC LOVE.....& GIFT CARD HOLDERS

Hello everyone....today I have two little TIC TAC boxes to share with ya....these come from new releases over at The Cutting Cafe....
I think these are the cutest ever.............I didn't have any orange tic tac's....I do know that for Halloween they start appearing everywhere....so instead I purchased some green ones and I thought hey why not put BOBBING FOR APPLES on one of them...This little pumpkin cut out is from the PUMPKIN TIC TAC BOX.
The BOBBING FOR APPLES is from the Autumn and Fall mini words.

Up next is another TIC TAC box...it comes with a box with a lid like the pumpkin one, but no cutout and then there is a book like one template...here is a pic of the book like template:
The special treats sentiment is from the EVERYDAY 1 INCH GREETINGS.

Up next are two gift card holders from a new template called GIFT CARD HOLDER (smile)...these new gift card holders are super basic but can be so awesome using all the pretty pattern papers out there...I did one for Christmas and one for everyday...these holders also come with a notch on them for easy closing....This Christmas one has the little notch on it for easy closing

Well I am beginning to think that Fall - Autumn isn't gonna take place here in my part of the world...actually the weather has been playing roller coaster lately...it was really cool one day and then it went right back to 90 plus...but I am not gonna do to much whining cause once the weather stays gloomy for a bit, I will be wanting Spring...geessss.............

Have ya been to The Cutting Cafe lately......Well I have just released a whole bunch of MONSTER FILES....and they are not just for Halloween...(smile)...first up is this card for the new weekly challenge over at the Cafe... called: CASE IT TUESDAYS WITH THE CAFE....so I thought I would play along myself...check it out here...and join in and win sets...This card uses the set called A BUNCH OF MONSTERS...

Hello everyone welcome to another MADE IT MYSELF MONDAYS...I have 2 projects to share with ya today...one that is very dear to my heart...I remember a few years ago I had to get an emergency Hysterectomy.....it was the worst pain I had every experienced in my lift..yeah worst then having all 4 of my kids....I had 2 HUGE tumors, one on each of my ovaries that had exploded...anyhoo I remember back then I was a CRICUT BUG NUT...literally spent days and nights posting and communicating with the girls on the board...many of us still to this day are very close...anyhoo, I remember when I had to get the emergency surgery and the board found out about it, I was flooded with cards, get well wishes and gifts...it was the most wonderful feeling to know that people I had never ever laid eyes showed so much care for me...it really got me through the whole ordeal.....ANYWAYS so when I read a post that my sis Teri had participated in for a sweet little girl name Olivia, I knew I wanted to participate...you can read all about it here and see Mrs. Teri adorable card over there as well.....Thanks T, for doing it and sharing with all of us....

This little box of COLOR ME IN SENTIMENT cards is for OLIVIA...She is having surgery for tumors and they want to fill her room with cards...so instead of sending her a card, I thought I would send her a set of THANK YOU AND JUST FOR YOU cards that she can color in and send to some special family and friends thanking them for her cards.....
Here's the inside of the box....there are 6 COLOR ME IN SENTIMENTS in the box....I thought it would be fun for her to be able to color some cards in herself...I also made her a few heart and flower matching stickers that she can put on her envelopes or on the cards...there is also a few colored in by Olivia tags for her to put on the back of the cards...all of these things are self adhesive...so she doesn't need any glue...the rhinestones are also self adhesive...

I covered the crayons to match the box and added some stamps....Don't want her parents to have to worry about getting stamps...

Up next is my first HALLOWEEN CARD.....I so love Halloween...not the buggy man and then devil side of it, but all the treats and fun images to make cards and gift packages...This card comes from the new MIKALA ANN BEING A GOOD WITCH SET.....I decided to use colors that had nothing to do with Halloween...
The paper is by a company called Authentique....and I fell in love with the patterns....I so love this set of images cause it comes with a few different outfits as well as two different witch hats...
not sure if you can see the glitter on her hat, but it awesome...it cost me 11 bucks...geeesss, it is by fairydust....it is amazing I tell ya...super fine...LOVE IT....I also added a few black rhinestones to her dress and flowers....

Hello everyone....I hope everyone is having a wonderful week so far...it is and has been hot here lately...I can truly say I am ready for FALL......, fireplace burning, sweet smelling candles lit, tea kettle ringing like crazy...(and no one in the whole house hearing it BUT ME)...ERRR...hot chocolate and etc etc.....then there is Christmas...omg did I say Christmas...anyhoo I have gotten way ahead of myself...just wanted to pop in and share a little card with ya today....this little LAUNDRY LINE is full of school stuff.....cute little image from the Cutting Cafe...

Welcome to another week of MADE IT MYSELF MONDAYS...

CARTON GIFTS that is...I am loving these new Milk Carton releases over at the Cutting Cafe. There are 5 new Milk carton files that have just been released:

CHRISTMAS MILK CARTONS.....I also used the CHRISTMAS MINI WORDS on this box
PLAIN MILK CARTON...(no cut out windows)...I simply couldn't resist putting GOT MILK...of course there isn't any milk in it...just some plain o almonds....which I love and the GOT MILK sentiment is from the GOT MILK SENTIMENT SET...
Don't ask me why I added the strawberries at the bottom..it just looked good on the swiss dot paper..

ASSORTED SHAPES MILK CARTONS...This one was perfect for a school gift since it has a apple cut out...I just filled the box with blue paper clips....and the greeting is from the ALL ABOUT SCHOOL SET.
Finally HALLOWEEN AND FALL SHAPE MILK CARTONS...I so love this paper by MME...I thought it went well with the spider cut out...then I just added some rhinestone orange eyes..I used the GOT MILK SENTIMENT SET again for the little tag.
I got one more project for you all....this little set was done using the new #1 ribbon shaped card set.....I thought it would be fun to give to my sons teacher...she can put the circle labels on the ribbons as needed...I used the 8 by 5 inch divider box to put them in...

DUBBLE BUBBLE CRAZY AND AN GUMBALL INVITE SET

Yes I have went DUBBLE BUBBLE AND GUMBALL CRAZY....I went to Michael's the other day and found a box of the original DUBBLE BUBBLE GUM...it contained the small square dubble bubble with comics in them.....FUN STUFF....so I just had to create a set over at The Cutting Cafe....

Hello everyone, Welcome to another episode of MADE IT MYSELF MONDAYS:

I hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July....it was a hot one here today....Okay today I have a few things to share...first up are two OVERALLS SHAPED CARDS.....I have done a girl version and a boy version....This girl version actually uses fabric....the fabric is from a pair of my old jeans....I just then added a puffy heart and some ribbon lace in the middle...the mini tag is from the VALENTINES DAY MINI WORDS And here is my boy version of the same shaped card...this one I added a football to his pocket...you can the shaped card over at the Cutting Cafe here...We had an over abundance of Plums this year and I really thought with all the rain we got that the plum tree was going to suffer...anyhoo with so many plums I decided to package some up and give to neighbors...I just used a empty strawberry basket for one and a paper bag for another....the circle tags are from the following two Cafe sets: FROM MY GARDEN and FOR MY NEIGHBOR

Hello everyone...it is so good to be back home from vacation...we took the kids horseback riding up in Lake Tahoe and it was wonderful...we got up so high in the hills that we could see the lake...BREATHTAKING.....a few days before taking the kids out though me and my husband got away for a few days on our own....You know us married people need that cause one day the kids will all be gone and it will just the two of us again...After horseback riding we took them to an amusement park...THEY ALWAYS LOVE THAT....
Okay I have two projects to share with ya today....
First up is this adorable little purple and yellow dress...I used the DRESS SHAPED CARD 2 for this.Up next is this SMILEY FACE...doesn't it make ya feel like SMILING....it is from the new set called YOU MAKE ME SMILE....

Hello everyone, what a glorious day....the weather is just wonderful....around 93 today in Sac town....

I so love these both...they can be used for lots of fun cards.....

First up is the ONESIE SHAPED CARD....this set comes with 6 different inserts to place in the inside of the card if you choose...from baby thank you's to baby shower invites..
I used some fun October Afternoon paper and then some really pretty deep brown lace...the sweet baby circle is also from the Cafe...to do the scallops on the edges of the onesie, I used my Nestabilities...then loaded them with glitter.

Up next is the ELEPHANT SHAPED CARD....this is a really fun shaped card also...I decided to do my elephant in yellow polka dots and then I did the ear in deep brown felt.....

I thought I would play along with the sketch at MOJO MONDAY......I thought it was super cute....I used the new ELISHA JEAN BERRY SWEET image....Elisha started out very light skin complexed and then I didn't like it cause it was to orange....I gotta get some more flesh color copics....so I ended up making her darker...can't say I am in love with it though...errrr.....

Hello everyone....well I think summer is finally going to arrive here soon....My flowers will be doing a HAPPY DANCE SOON.....(smile).....I have 2 projects to share with ya today.....
First is a sweet little card made using the MIKALA ANN WITH A BIG HEART....I left her dress white and just colored in the dots...there is glitter on her shoes and on some of the dots....
and next is just a layout I did using the sketch 159 by Creative Scrappers
With the weather getting better, me and these boots will be spending lots of time together....(smile)....have a fantastic day all.....

Few things to share

Well things are finally calming down a bit here around the Easter home...Kids are out and are invading my SPACE....hehehe...all jokes aside, it is good to have them home for a few months...

If ya haven't been to the Cafe in awhile, I have just released 4 different Elisha Jean and friends sets...they are super cute...holding a big heart, apple and strawberry....Then there is a set with frames and the girls are holding baskets that you can add either small bunches of flowers, hearts and strawberries...cute stuff.....My first project uses the RUBY J. BASKET JUST FOR YOU set....I am still trying to work on my coloring of darker skin tones...using copics...I might have to break out my water color crayons from Stampin Up...that is what I used to use...anyways...
I thought this image would be cute to put on a tag and then wrap up a apple in cellophane...the abc border is from the SCHOOL BORDERS set....this gift is super quick to make...you could even put a gift card if you wanted on the back side of the tag...

Up next are two guy cards...my oldest will be turning 19 this month and then there is Father's Day right around the corner....We are featuring Guy cards over at The Cafe next week...so be sure to check out all the Guy cards in our next Monthly Inspiration....
Both of these were made using the CRUISIN' BY TO SAY HI set. The HAPPY BIRTHDAY BACKGROUND 2 is also from The Cutting Cafe.

And lastly is a fun card I made using the new SURFBOARD SHAPED CARD...this is a fun shaped card set with several different layers...there are also 2 different surfboards in the set....

YEAR END TEACHER GIFT AND TOOTH FAIRY BOX...

Okay don't say I didn't warn ya....hehehe....I have some fun projects to share with ya today....
First is the project I made for my sons teacher for tomorrow....tomorrow is their last day of school...YIPEEE....I used two new sets from the Cutting Cafe....MATCHBOOK BOX SET and MINI NOTE PAD AND CARD SET....I must say I love both of these sets....

The MATCHBOOK BOX SET comes with a matchbook cover as well as a regular lid..I used the regular lid on this project
The JUST A LITTLE SOMETHING FROM ME TO YOU tag is also from the Cutting Cafe
Here is the inside of the box...see that red lid..this comes in the set also...it is a divider so that you can hide or divide things...underneath, I put some handmade envelopes for the teacher to use...all she has to do is pull on the loop to lift.....I made some little creme wraps to go around the cards and note cards
envelopes....this is also a template in the mini note card and card set....
A few of the note cards....these are so cute..I actually matted them on another piece of cardstock...there are 18 different note pad images in the set
and here are the little note folded cards I made....I just used the apple shaped card...(I shrunk it down) and the numbers embossing folders from Provo Craft
I had my little Benjamin write a little note to his teacher and then we added a Starbucks card in the envelope with his note....this will be the first thing she see's when she opens the box.

Next up is a TOOTH FAIRY box that I made for my niece....she is a total sweetheart....I used the new TOOTH SHAPED CARD SET for this project as well as the TOOTH MATCHBOOK BOX SET.....
I added a little ribbon pull so that she could easily open up the matchbook
Here is the inside of the box.....little records that she can keep when - where and details about each tooth

and she will be able to put all her teeth underneath this divider that comes in the set.

ROAD TRIP ANYONE................................

Well the weather is nice, the kids are just about ready to be done with school...so that means it is ROAD TRIP TIME.....not sure where we are going this year as a family....ANYHOO.....

These projects below are for SANDY'S CHALLENGE...check it out...she is fantastic...

There is a new fun couple of sets over at The Cutting Cafe....both of these two cards come from the set called ITS ROAD TRIP TIME....this set is filled with some fun stuff for a road trip...there is a black and white and colored road trip confetti sheet that I love....you can cut out the greetings or use the full sheets.....

The set also comes with two shaped card signs....I used the Interstate one on this first card....and the VACATION TIME comes from the confetti sheet....I thought this would be fun to either put two pictures in or send to a friend who is going on a trip.

This last one here uses the cute car with luggage and the black and white confetti sheet...I also used the ASSORTED SCALLOP SET 1 for the brown scallops going around the card..

HAWAII, CARS AND SENIOR BALLS...........................

Boy it seems like forever since I have posted anything, but I have been super busy....first off we just got back from a week long trip to Hawaii and boy it was a much needed trip....while I was gone my son had his senior ball....see pic below...aren't they the cutest couple...she is a real sweetheart....

Okay I have 3 cards to share with ya today...all come from the new CRUISIN' BY TO SAY HI SET...this is a very fun set..there are 3 different cars in the set.....the images come in black and white for coloring in as well as some colored images....I tried to do a variety of projects with the set using the one car....
This first one I just used one of the smaller cars that was already colored....I also used for the little tag the VALENTINES DAY MINI WORDS Next up CRUISIN' BY TO SAY HI I paper pieced the larger car....the set comes with a few pieces to paper piece the cars....add some rhinestones to the wheels and the street is from the ON THE ROAD HUGE STAMP...and finally (my favorite)...this one was super duper quick..I based it on the MOJO CHALLENGE MOJO190..I just printed the car on kraft paper and added some doodling along with two red rhinestones to the car and that was it for the car...then just did a bit of crazy stitching around the car in red...the little mini circle is from the GOODBYE HUGE CIRCLE WORD...I just reduced it in size...Well that is it for me....I leave ya with a pic of my oldest and his girlfriend getting ready to go to their senior ball...picture isn't the best...I just copied it from their facebook page....hugs

Well everyone Easter is just around the corner and if ya got kids in school and want to give their teachers a little gift...now is the time to get busy....I made these two goody bag holders using two new sets...
First is from the SENTIMENT OVAL - EGG GOODY BAG HOLDER...you can purchase this with the sentiments or without....so this can be used for Easter or just about any occasion...I also colored in another little girl image from the ELISHA JEAN AND FRIENDS SET....this one is RUBY J.Ruby J....has lots of glitter on her...her socks, pockets and hair band....then there are little pearl glitter on the edge of her dress and for the buttons..Up next is a JELLY BEAN GOODY BAG HOLDER.....this one I think will go to hubby...that is why I used the colors I did....I also used the EVERYDAY 1 INCH GREETINGS and the JELLY BEAN BACKGROUND SET for the paper....printed it out on kraft paper...Well it is so pretty today...I had been working in my back all morning...the flowers and bushes are coming so nicely from all the rain....now I am going to go mow the lawn...hugs...

ELISHA JEAN.................so I went to Green Tangerines last night and picked up about 8 copics.....caused I so badly wanted to do a brown skin Elisha Jean.....it reminds me of my Ebony Elisha Jean.....anyhoo, I was lost when it came to choosing the right color tones...well believe it or not there was an instructor there and she literally spent about an 1 hour with me going over shading and stuff....take about being generous with your time...especially when one would normally have to pay for that kind of info.....anyHOO here is my version..I still got lots of learning to do, but I love her.....her dress is in 3d.....pockets are in glitter pink and there are pink rhinestones on the bottom of her dress, shoes and hair bow....the little tag is from the VALENTINES DAY MINI WORDS

Hello everyone...I am super excited to have finally finished a set of little girls for the Cafe site...Elisha Jean is a little girl that reminds me of my own daughter and of course I had to make a few other girls to go along with her....each of the girls will be dressed the same, but their faces are a bit different as well as their hair...a little something for everyone (smile)...the first set is called everyday because they are dressed in a plain dress that can be easily paper piece....the set comes with the dress separate to paper piece if you like...they are sold individually and as a set...I hope to expand on their wardrobe as holidays approach and with the change of seasons....look for some projects to come soon....you can find the sets here

Wow I can't believe that I have done 2 layouts in one week....and I am truly enjoying it....YIPEE...here is just another pic that was taken at the Halloween store...I used two different files from the Cutting Cafe: SWEET BABY HUGE CIRCLE WORD AND the HAPPY HALLOWEEN BACKGROUND
This is my oldest child, so full of life, so darn silly....(smile)...thank the Lord, it is a Halloween baby and NOT THE REAL THING...hehehehe

He he he...funny title...so I am sitting here looking through some photos and asking myself why I don't scrap as much as I use to...I mean I really really use to like it...the styles and props that people use these days are just fabulous, but I must say it really isn't my style...maybe that is one reason...My style is so plain when it comes to layouts that I look like a beginner....then I asked myself...WAIT A MINUTE a beginner just cause I don't put a bunch of bells and whistles on my layouts....so for now on, when I do a layout here and there...I AM GOING TO SHARE IT...it is my own style...and not worry that it isn't like some of the FABULOUSLY talented scrapbookers that I...my sis has been telling me all along that I should scrap more...she is one of those FABULOUS layout girls...you can check her stuff out here...(love ya girl)...okay ENOUGH already....this layout uses a bunch of stuff from my stash...some halloween my minds eye and the happy Halloween border and line paper journaling at the bottom are from the cafe site...MY KIDS ARE SILLY...Up next is a sweet little card to bring some sunshine to my blog...the weather is so darn rainy, but hey I am not really complaining cause my plants in the front of my house and back are growing so nicely....can't wait to see it all in full bloom....This card uses the new ONE SPRING DAY set...this set has over 90 images in it...color and black and white..one of my all time favorites....I will upload a video later....I added some glitter to the puddles and raindrops, rhinestones to the umbrella trimming and did some 3ding...

Yes the weather outside is frightful, but when ya see that rainbow, just know that the sun will be out tomorrow...well maybe not the exact next day...BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN...(smile)..
With all the rain lately, I decided to make a RAINBOW SHAPED CARD....I did it in a really bright yellow with a few pastel colors....this new RAINBOW SHAPED CARD comes with a few other arched titles....fun card to send to someone that is needing a little sunshine...the inside reads: BUT THE HEART OF A FRIEND..Next is another fun clock card...this card came together very quick because it comes from the COLORFUL CLOCK set...this set is of coursed colored.....I also used the huge circle word from the ITS ABOUT TIME SET....thanks for visiting me today....hugs

So Easter will be here before you know it....I have 2 Easter cards to share with ya today and another bike card.....
I decided to play along over at Moxie Fab with this weeks Tuesday Trigger....awe.......i Love this picture we had to work with...MY TAKE ON THE PHOTO
For some reason I am so in love with this bike even though there are several different ones on the LETS GO FOR A RIDE set from the Cutting Cafe....this time I paired it up with the BICYCLE BACKGROUND SET....and then added the little butterfly that comes from the SOCIAL BUTTERFLY SET....see video in making this card below..

Up next are two fun Easter cards
Moxie fab word is having a fun paper piece challenge....i love paper piecing with the cutting cafe stamps.....these last two cards are for that challenge...

...First one EGGS....uses the EASTER SET 3 and the EASTER BINGO CARDS....I also used the ASSORTED SCALLOPS to do the scallop frame....
And my final card US CHICKS LOVE HANGING OUT TOGETHER.....comes also from the EASTER SET 3....don't cha just love these chicks.....

BOOK BOX PROJECT

Hello everyone.....so tell me do you have any lovers of reading and I do mean people that like to read ALL DAY if they could....well I have two in my family...my daughter and my hubby....to tell you how much my daughter reads, basically a restriction for her would be to tell her she can't read for a day or two....she reads that much...she want to be a writer...she has even written a few books..I am so proud of her and my husband....recently my husband bought a Nook, but I can't get my daughter to want one..she loves the feel of the actual book.............anyhoo, I love this BOOK BOX FILE....below is a video on making this project......

Well hubby and I decided to buy bikes last week...or shall I say new bikes....now we can hardly wait for the spring time to come to do some serious riding together and with the kids....we rode a bit after getting the bikes, but lately the weather has been really cold and rainy so we will have to put the bikes aside for a bit.....I thought I would use the new LETS GO FOR A RIDE set and make him a quick card and send to his job....I love how this card came out....SO QUICK, no fuss, straight to the point....I ended up printed the bike on transparency paper...added a few rhinestones and stitching...then a scallop border to the inside and that was it....you can check out this set here....hugs

BABY SHOWER FAVORS

Well the baby shower last weekend was a total success...now I just can't wait for the little one to make his appearance...I love babies...anyhoo, here are the baby shower favors that I made....I decided to go with a yellow and lime type green color....There are chocolate covered raisins in the plastic containers and the other favors are chocolate bars....(Hersey, dark chocolate and Mr. Good bar)......I used the new BABY SHOWER THANK YOUS to make these favors....I ended up customizing a few of the tags with her name of them..these were quick and fun to make....I just used some postal wrap to wrap the candy bars..

MOMMY TO BE AND BABY GIFT

Awww........................nothing like a new baby on the way...I so loved it when I was pregnant..I had the best pregnancies...so I was so blessed....anyhoo, my niece is expecting soon and I am throwing her a baby shower next week......so I thought I would make a 1st Mother's day card and a little card with matching box for her.....

up first is this adorable little CAP SHAPED CARD with matching box.The cap shaped card is a new file over at the Cafe....it comes with 7 different sentiments...curved and straight.....there is even a clover in the set....just in case you want to make a St. Patrick's Day hat for someone....the box is from the 8 by 5 inch box with dividers and the little tag on the box is from the All occasion tag set.....there is just a little slugger outfit in the box...oh so cute....I added the little trimmings to match the puff that i put on top of the hat....then little its a boy tag is from the baby mini words set....Up next is a 1ST MOTHER'S DAY card for her....this flower comes from the new BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS set.......this set is HUGE HUGE...check it out here.....and the sentiment comes from the FOR THAT WONDERFUL MOM set....this set is awesome for making cards for your other family and friends that are mothers.....below is a little video on making this card..well have a great day....

Wow I will be so ready when it is time for Valentine's day...all little gifts for teachers and friends for the kids will BE DONE...YIPEEEE...

Okay got 2 projects for ya....first up are these AWESOME little tubes that I found at my local scrapbook store (Stamper Corner)....I filled them with red hots and Hersey Kisses...I then wrapped them with some borders from the new ASSORTED HEART BORDER sets from the Cutting Cafe...love this set...the tags are from the VALENTINE FAMILY AND FRIENDS and the 12 VALENTINE CIRCLE WORDS.. SEE VIDEO BELOW ON MAKING THIS PROJECT...Up next is a little box I made using the CANDY BOX template and the ASSORTED HEART BORDERS (the little mini sentiments in the hearts) and the ASSORTED HEART CARDS...this card set has 9 different heart cards in it and 2 envelopes....the dog is from the ANIMAL AND BUG LOVE set...Well that's it for me...I think I might finish up some painting this weekend...hugs

Got a few different projects to share with ya today...before I get into these projects, you may have notice that I have posted a few cards over on etsy...I think I will from time to time sell a few cards again here and there....okay first up are some heart cookies that my son and I baked then decorated...trying to decide what we want to give the teachers for Valentine's Day this year...these are actually quite tasty...I used the HOLIDAY TAG SET for the tags...

Next up is another card using the ANIMAL AND BUG LOVE SET....I think I will be sending this little card to my daughter....with a little note in the inside telling her not to forget mommy loves you....

Any finally is a card using some cute cute cute owl images from scrapnfonts.com... the owl comes from a set called DB FUNKY OWLS.....cute set I tell ya...I ended up coloring the owl in my bosskut and then printed it out...this card will fit into a business size card envelope....well that's all FOR NOW....hugs

it really is.....I have two projects to share with ya today....both use the new THIS CAKE IS ALL HEART SET....basically this set came out with Valentine babies in mind...I happen to know a few people with Valentine birthdays so I originally designed this set for that reason...and then I decided to throw in a few Wedding sentiments...the first card uses one of the colored images and the shaped card base...I first distressed a piece of white paper using Tim Holtz Antique Linen and then printed the image onto the paper...I love the vintage look...then I used my copics to color in brown row of hearts a bit darker....I recently picked up the dark brown lace and so loved the way it looked with the tealish/baby blueish hearts..Next I just used one of the black and white images and made a real quick Valentine birthday card...the cake is in 3d...SEE VIDEO BELOW thanks for visiting me...hugs

Hello everyone...so was Santa good to ya this year.....We had a wonderful quite Christmas...just the way I love it....Okay I must say when it comes to Christmas decorations, I am eager to put them up....BUT then when Christmas is over I am SO EAGER to put them down....I guess you can call me a SCROOGE in that area...but hey I put my decorations up like 3 days BEFORE Thanksgiving....anyhoo here is a card using two of the new Valentine's Day files from The Cutting Cafe....VALENTINE'S DAY MINI WORDS (FILE TO BE RELEASED SOON) and FUN WITH VALENTINE'S DAY....I changed the color of the heart border to pink to match my ever so favorite pink and creme ribbon from Stampin up...I am so hating that I am almost out of this color...so it will be retiring soon...gotta get a new favorite color....I am sure you all are a bit tired of seeing that ribbon used on so many of my projects....

TEACHER GIFT FOR CHRISTMAS.....PROJECT TO HOLD A GIFT CHALLENGE

Wow I can't believe that Christmas is like only a few weeks ahead...I can at least say I got all of my kids teacher's gifts just about wrapped up....this box with a snowflake cut out is one of 5 new boxes with Christmas cut outs available over at the Cutting Cafe....I ended up cutting out another snowflake from the middle of the box and added a bit of glitter to it and adhered it to the front of the box....see the little circle word..well that is from a set called MERRY CHRISTMAS TO MY TEACHER...perfect tag to put on a little package for your kids teachers this holiday....This little box is also for the POLKA DOODLES: (project to hold a gift)....geesss seems like forever since I have done a challenge....those ladies have some fantastic projects over there...

Next up is a SNOWFLAKE SHAPED CARD...I used another phrase from the MERRY CHRISTMAS TO MY TEACHER in the inside and had Benjamin sign his name....ALSO IF YOU PURCHASE THE FULL SET OF BOXES WITH THE CUT OUTS...you get this SNOWFLAKE SHAPED CARD SET FOR FREE....through midnight Wednesday the 8th of December....

CAMERA SHAPED PHOTO HOLDER.......................

Do you ever take a bunch of photos and just end up sending family and friends some of the photos just in a plain envelope...or worst yet through the computer and they have to print them out themselves..well the Cutting Cafe just released a CAMERA SHAPED PHOTO HOLDER and Camera shaped card that you can put those photos in......This first holder I made is for the girl that I am doing a baby shower for this weekend...I thought after I take all the photos at the baby shower, I will then send them to her in the mail in this holder..the little tag on the holder is from the BABY MINI WORDS....
And yes I have been using that pink and white ribbon like crazy...I can't get enough of it..it is by stampin up..width is 1 1/4...love it....I only have the pink and red and white....AND I WANT THEM ALL....hint hint to any of my relatives that might be reading my blog and want to send me some (smile)..for all of you that might want to get some...Ms. Lillie is a demonstrator and can hook ya up..go here for details..number is 119775...but that is only for the pink and white.
Okay back to the holder....the photos inside are just some photos I put in there to show how the photos look inside the holder....the photos are of my sweet little niece...

CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT SET....................

Now I know these ornaments are not your traditional Christmas colors....but I simply couldn't resist using this paper pad by SEI that I just got from Scenic Route the other day....(yes they now sell other stuff at discounted prices)....I used the new CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT FUN set from The Cutting Cafe this is really really really a fun set of templates and cutting files...no need to worry about your cutting skills if you don't have a cutting machine or the scal software to cut out with your cricut...these are pretty easy to hand cut...the set comes with lots of fun stuff...sevaral nesting ornaments, shaped card, folded card and borders....I then used the SQUARE BOX WITH DIVIDERS to put these 4 ornaments into...I cut out the ornament on the top of the box myself...just so that you could see the ornaments in the box....

alot like Christmas...yes yes yes I know we haven't even celebrated Thanksgiving yet...but when ya go into the stores they already have their Christmas stuff out...so...........I have been working on a few Christmas things myself...There has been lots of new releases over at The Cutting Cafe...
Up first is a new CANDY CANE BOX SET....this box can also be used for so many other things....I also used the CHRISTMAS MINI WORDS on this box.Up next is a CHRISTMAS TREE GOODIE BAG...I also used the CHRISTMAS CIRCLE SET 2

OOOOOOOOO There is something oh so wonderful when the weather is cooler...the air is fresh and it really feels like God just refreshes my soul when I walk in the mornings on a Fall day....but also with the weather turning cooler, lets face it sometimes we get a little cold....so why not surprise one of your family or friends with something hot....HOT CHOCOLATE to be exact...this little project is a new release over at The Cutting Cafe...The holder will hold two packs of Hot Cocoa...I decided to wrap my holder in matching paper that went along with the Cocoa packages...this paper is yummy by Anna Griffin....the big scallops on the brown paper (it was paper scraps so I don't have the name of the paper), but the scallops is a punch by EK.....yummy ribbon came in my Ribbon monthly club...love that club (REALLY REASONABLE RIBBON)...it is a monthly club that sends ya oh so awesome ribbons each month....check it out...

Well I finally got the CHRISTMAS BINGO released over at the Cutting Cafe....The Halloween Bingo was such a big hit and many of ya wanted a Christmas set....So I decided to get it out early for those of you that want to make little CHRISTMAS BINGO SET GIFTS....I use some fun Christmas Crate paper and chipboard on the cover of mine....then I topped the bulb off with a circle word that comes in the set.....See the little FUN word..well that comes from the BIRTHDAY MINI WORDS set...these are becoming my favorite and they are only .99 cent for the whole set.....I LOVE adding little tags to my projects...look for a whole bunch of mini word sets to be released.....Did you know the JEWELRY TAG from Stampin up works PERFECTLY with this mini words...YULP IT DOES...you can order that punch from MS.Lillie here....Well have a great night.....

So tell me does anyone else call their hubby or kids BOO...............I know I do all the time...(smile)..okay got a few more Halloween projects to share with ya...

First up is a little pillow box for HUBBY....this circle word was designed especially for hubby...you can find this circle word set called TO MY BOO....over at the Cafe site...99 cent special...I also used the ASSORTED PILLOW BOX , HALLOWEEN MINI COLORED SET and the BOO background....it is filled with some of his favorite candy...
Next are a few Halloween gifts for my daughter to give to her friends....the little containers are filled with spooky hand wash..got these cute little bottles at Bath and Body..This first one with HAPPY HALLOWEEN uses the ASSORTED HALLOWEEN CIRCLE WORDS.

And this one uses two sets: the Happy Halloween bag topper is from the HALLOWEEN TREATS JUST FOR YOU and the WITCH LEGS are from the HALLOWEEN TIME

And lastly I used the Candy box along with the HALLOWEEN TREATS JUST FOR YOU SET and another new set called BIRTHDAY MINI WORDS..this set is becoming a favorite of mine because I love to put little words on my projects........The one pictures shows how the candy is wrapped in the box...

Well last week was my middle sons homecoming dance...(click here if ya missed that)...well now it is my daughters homecoming dance....granted 3 of my siblings all go t the same high school, BUT...my middle son went to his girlfriends homecoming...my older son, didn't go, but my daughter decided to go to her homecoming....(geeeeeessssssssssssss)...anyhoo, here are a few pictures of her and one with her friend Taylor...both ladies looked so beautiful...I feel so blessed to have a wonderful daughter....AND.....here is just a little card I whipped up for Taylors bd today..I used the HEY GIRLFRIEND HAPPY BIRTHDAY set from the THE CUTTING CAFE......Ebony and I went to Bath and Body works and got some good smelling stuff for Taylor and then we wrapped up 14 single ones around her favorite candy bar...the intent is to have her pull out the candy bar and have all the ones follow along....Well have a awesome day and don't forget to check out the latest file just released over at the Cutting Cafe....here is just a little picture of the two sets:

Hello everyone...boy what a weekend I had....busy busy busy....but oh so awesome..it started with a soccer game for my little one and a trip to the farmers market...yes that was fun to me...(smile)...then I had to get my middle son ready for his homecoming...along with get my older son to take my little one to his school festival...so it was a busy day....anyHOO, I have a card to share using the FRIENDS background from the CUTTING CAFE and a few photos of Isiah and his girlfriend....I think I went photo crazy....but here is just one of my son and one of them together....

Hello everyone...so I am sure all of you California's are wondering what happened to the cool air we got last week...the heat is back....at least that is what I am wondering...I am a fallish kind of girl...it is suppose to be around 103 today..luckily I will be taking a little trip to the bay area for a dinner party..so that will surely cool me off...okay I got a few more Halloween projects for ya today....
Up first is a new set from the Cafe called HALLOWEEN WINE AND SODA WRAP LABELS...
I decided to wrap up a Hansen Mandarin Lime soda can and I used the SPIDER WEB WINE label...of course it isn't wine, but hey I thought it was cute....I also used the HALLOWEEN TIME for the spider...added a bit of glitter to the spiders legs....the bottom wrap which also comes in the set reads: eat drink & be scary..Next up I used the CANDY CORN shaped card, ASSORTED HALLOWEEN WORD CIRCLES and the TINY BOX WITH SENTIMENTS...I really love the TINY BOX set....The box tag reads: WE'VE GOT A CORNY KIND OF LOVE...I guess I will give this to hubby...of course inside the box is candy corn..I tried to make the projects the colors of candy corns..you know yellow at the bottom and then orange in the middle and the white ribbon represents the white part of the candy (smile)And then i used some of those gel bags from stampin up..filled it with CANDY CORN of course...Contact Ms. Lillie if ya want some of those bags from stampin up...they are good for little baked goods and other goodies...

Hello everyone...I remember a few years ago a very good friend of mine Dianne was diagnosed with breast cancer and she had did a card of a owl and put HOOTERS on it..I remember her being a bit hesitant if she should post the card or not, well it turned out to be a TOTAL HIT...MANY LOVED IT...you can see it here...........I am so very happy to say that she overcame the disease to....

With National Breast Cancer Awareness month coming next month, I decided to create a file called THINK PINK....and a RIBBON SHAPED CARD card....it seems as though this disease has touched just about everyone I know in one way or another..rather it is breast cancer or another form of cancer...My father passed away for cancer 7 years ago...I pray for the day that a cure is found...Please see a video on making this card at the bottom....

I have to say that HALLOWEEN is one of my favorite times to make cards and such....I think it has something to do with the colors...ORANGE, LIME GREENS, PURPLES, BLACK...whats not to like about those colors....ANYHOO......these two cards use the new HALLOWEEN WORD BLOCK from the CUTTING CAFE....I teamed them up with some cute MY MINDS EYE ....BLACKBIRD paper...that pack of paper is so fun...I also used the HALLOWEEN THIS AND THAT for the Hocus Pocus and star on the witch card...Well have a great Tuesday...hugs

Hello everyone...........today I want to share a project that I have been working on ALL DAY....wooohooo so glad to be done...this project features two new sets over at The Cutting Cafe...HALLOWEEN BINGO and a larger size 8 BY 5.5 INCH BOX WITH DIVIDERS...
The new box with dividers fits the HALLOWEEN BINGO CARD set just perfectly...I plan on giving this to my sons teacher for their little Halloween party next month....the set comes with 8 colored different bingo cards and all the words to fit each and every section of each of the cards...woooooooooooooooo...lots of them I tell ya...I made the little colored chips out of different colors of the whole paper set...the papers are by Doodlebug..love it...Be sure to check out the new set and for a limited time when you purchase the HALLOWEEN BINGO SET you get the box for free..up until Sunday night (26th of September 2010)

I think I have found the perfect gift to give a few trick or treaters this Halloween....I am the hostess this week for the bbtb2 and I asked the lovely team to use the CRAYON BOX from the TAGS BAGS BOXES AND MORE cricut cartridge....this little box can be used for so many cute little gifts..I decided to make mine into a Halloween crayon box....I used the new Cutting Cafe--- ASSORTED HALLOWEEN CIRCLE WORDS for the Happy Halloween tag and then I used the TINY SOLID DOT for wrapping the crayons.................fun quick set.

GOOD GRIEF...I don't know why I am on this PINK AND YELLOW combination lately....oh well I promise to get off of this combination REAL SOON....Just popping in for a quickie tonight...this FRIENDLY haunted house comes from a fun set over at The Cutting Cafe called: HALLOWEEN TIME....I totally love this set....you gotta see it...loaded with fun Halloween stuff....and there are many more sets to come..SOON...I added some yellow and red glitter to the card to give it a bit of bling look...I guess I could have totally made this a SPOOKY house, but then I wouldn't have been able to use PINK AND YELLOW..(smile)...the scallops on the edges are from the ASSORTED SCALLOP SET...

AWWWW.........FALL......IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER

And I am so ready for it...I am a Fall kind of girl....Today I want to share with you a set of cards that I made just for myself to give to others of course...I used two new awesome sets from The Cutting Cafe....COLORED LEAVES SET and WELCOME FALL.....I am sure both will be a favorite of mine for a long time....I wanted these cards to be super quick and easy....SEE VIDEO BELOW....Here's a few things I did in making these cards.......basically I just printed out 4 different leave backgrounds...there are 6 different colored leaves in the set....I found some paper to match each of the colored background sheets and then just folded some Kraft card bases at about 4.5 by 4 inches...using the ENVELOPE templates I made some matching Kraft envelopes.I did also cut out a leaf out of each color and embossed it then pop them up on each card...adding a little ribbon....The sentiments come from the WELCOME FALL set...this set is fully of FALL/AUTUMN stuff.....I am going to set these on my desk and send out one card weekly....
