OKAY HERE IS THE DETAILS OF THE BLOG CANDY I AM GIVING AWAY

Hello everyone, upon reaching over 1000 people visiting my site, I would like to thank you by giving away some blog candy. I truly appreciate all the wonderful comments that you all have left for me. Here is how this will work, since Mother's Day is just around the corner (May 13) I thought just to get everyone started with their Mother's Days cards that to be able to win the blog candy in the two pictures, you need to make a card, tag or something altered that you plan to give to your Mother for Mother's Day. Of course this can be for a friend or a family member....whoever you feel in your heart that you want to celebrate on Mother's Day. How this will work, is just leave me a comment in this thread as to where I can find your project to view; (like on another gallery or board etc.). I will randomly draw a name from all the people who join in and then contact you if you are the winner. The deadline will be May 8th, so I will be drawing a name sometime on the 9th...

Thanks again and I can hardly wait to see what you all create.

  3. Wow, that is some yummy blog candy. If I win I would share with my mom as she is a crafter too (and I like to share). One thing we are making my mom is a ribbon holder (my husband will make it & I will make the card and add some spools of ribbon to start her off). I don't have the card made yet but you can see the ribbon holder on my blog.

  11. What a great gift! Here is the link to my Mother's Day card!

Its quick and simple ... use your favorite back ground stamp (I used Floral from SU)... then on vellum with an alphabet set (I used letterpress alpha from SU) write out the word MOM and with Wonderful Words (Also SU) I embossed the word love. I used glassy glaze embossing powder (also known as UTEE), vellum cardstock and vintage violet cardstock (all from SU)

  14. Beautiful work Regina! Your talent is amazing. Mother's Day will be hard for me this year. This is my first Mother's Day without my mom. She passed away last year on 9/11. I don't have a Mother In Law either. I think I will make my sister a card as she just got a new little puppy. When I get the card made, I will post it on my blog http://bermudabluez.blogspot.com
    Great Blog Candy and TFS!!

  36. I made my first cards this Mother's Day. We went shopping for them and I thought $5/card was outrageous so I came home and made 6. All variations of the same thing but personalized to each mom:http://www.scrapbook.com/galleries/139807/view/820655/-1/0/1.html
