NEW CUTTING CAFE TEAM - 2 FOR 1 SPECIAL AND MORE..

Well it is official...I now have a young adult child...my baby turned 18 today...(I will share a pic of him later)....gees...........can't believe that..now when school starts back up in August I will have a 4th grader, 9th, 10th, 12th grader.
(3 high schoolers and 1 elementary)......YIKESSSSSSSSSSSS...PRAY FOR ME...he he he

Okay also I wanted to mention that I just posted the New Cutting Cafe team up on the Cafe site...along with a 2 for 1 special..so check that out as well....The new team rocks rocks rocks...a bit of sad news though....A few ladies that I have worked with for quite some time now will no longer be on the Cafe team...but I am so fortunate to have gotten to know them so well that we all call ourselves friends...I am so thankful for that....hugs........

SUMMER WORD BOOK........

Okay I think I am hooked or shall I say getting hooked.....I use to do mini books and layouts back in the day like crazy...well The Cutting Cafe will be starting to add a bunch of word books and HUGE STAMPS for adding onto layouts and I had to do this SUMMER BOOK....just covered the pages for now..but can't wait to fill up....see the video below...

A FEW CARDS USING FABRIC...................................

Hello everyone...before I get into my projects..I wanted to remind everyone that the Cutting Cafe is having a Design Team call here...

...Okay today I want to share to cards using some awesome fabrics pieces that I got from ALL THINGS FABRIC.....it is a new shop with ...DUH...all things being fabric (smile)...fabric strips (great for making shabby ribbons), 6 by 6 squares (great for adding to your cards, layouts etc.), and other fabric embellishments....I thought I would combine a few Cutting Cafe items with some of the fabrics from the shop...

The first card up uses some fabulous Toile fabric...love that stuff...I added another handmade paper flower that I did myself using some Tim Holtz distressing ink.....the JUST SAYING HELLO is from a set called ALL OCCASION CIRCLE WORD SET 3 from the Cutting Cafe....you can find the Toile fabric at this link. She will be having a lot of one of a kind with some items only being one in stock....so you might want to hop on over there and check out what she has and get it while you can...if she hasn't uploaded some of these items I am featuring here on my blog...follow her site and check back later....(smile)My next card features a huge FABULOUS fabric rose....with brown glitter on it...I so love this...I made the card really simple to let the fabric rose stand out....I do know she only has one set of these left....so check that out ASAP...here.....I used one of the sentiments from the EVERYDAY GREETING SET 1....I am so proud of you...and the scallops come from the ASSORTED SCALLOPS over at the Cutting Cafe...

GIFT ENCLOSURE CARD SET........

Hello everyone, I have a cute little box with cards to share with ya today....this set comes from a new set over at the CUTTING CAFE called GIFT ENCLOSURE CARD BOX ....
This box will hold up to 6 small gift cards with envelopes....I made my set fully out of LEMONADE paper from Basic Grey..Here are some pictures of the box
I also used another new set from the Cutting Cafe called ALL OCCASION MINI CARD FRAMES...this is a cute set for making mini gift cards..Please see video at the bottom for more details...

Hello everyone....today I want to share a quick card that I made for a dear friend Krista Norman...her daddy passed away last week and although I know her heart is aching, she is a strong christian woman and knows he is with the Lord..and that is our ultimate journey....no more pain, no more crying...ABSOLUTE JOY....I used another one of the ALL OCCASION FRAMES for this card and then I made one of those fabulous paper flowers using CHRISTINA THOMAS instructions...see the video below for all the details...hugs

Hello everyone...today I have a very simple card.....but one that I think came out pretty cute....I used a few sets from the Cutting Cafe on this card: BIRTHDAY FUN for the party hat...CELEBRATION FRAMES for the happy birthday frame.....COLORED BACKGROUND BIRTHDAY GIRL for the background....I colored in the party hat with my copics and then added a crochet line flower to the top of it...then added a beaded button on that....

NO REASON JUST BEE-CAUSE

Hello everyone...I have another card to share with ya using the CUTE CRITTERS printable stamp set again..boy I sure do love this set....this time I teamed it up with some old but goodie SEI paper...I added some glitter to the bee's body using Doodlebugs glitter...love that stuff...I ended up adding some black dots from one bee to the other AFTER I took the picture...the inside of the card reads NO REASON..JUST BEE-CAUSE....Also if ya looking for the perfect paper to print the Cutting Cafe images on that won't smear, you really need to try Ellen Hutson....it is perfect..no smearing and they also carry a WIDE range of colored cardstock....

CUTE CRITTERS CARD SET..CANCER WALK SATURDAY

Hello everyone..............today is such a beautiful day...I woke up this morning to sunshine....My flowers in the backyard and front all looked so beautiful...isn't God Great...Yes he is....and speaking of the outdoors..........today I have a cute little card set to share with ya....Recently I released a few new sets over at the Cutting Cafe...pretty much all having to do with BUGS................cute ones though....This little card set came together rather quickly...I am focusing on doing more fast, less fuss cards...that way I can spend more time on my love for this craft and family...plus can make more cards to give to family and friends...WITHOUT spending to much time on ONE CARD...anyhoo....I used the CUTE CRITTERS, TINY SOLID DOT BACKGROUND SET, STATIONERY BOX, JUST BECAUSE SENTIMENT SET, ALL OCCASION TAG SET AND THE JUST BEE/BUG CAUSE background sets to make this set....I am so loving the frames in the JUST BECAUSE SENTIMENT SET....they are all formatted already to fit on a quarter fold size card...look for more of these types of frames to come soon to the Cafe site...I did a little video on how I made this set...see that after the pictures....So what is everyone's plans for this weekend...mine is pretty busy...first up this evening I have to pick up my son's girlfriend....(yulp same one for the last year now)....then tomorrow the whole family....all 6 of us are doing the RACE FOR THE CURE walk...should be awesome....then probably lunch after that...then Sunday of course is Mothers day..so probably church and then relax.......and then go see Iron Man2...I am so an Iron man fan...can't wait to see that.........hugs...

FLOWER POTS, BANNERS AND CUPCAKES.....

HE HE HE....Hello everyone...just popping in to share my last 2 projects...I mentioned the other day how much I was loving the cricut cake...well I am still loving it, BUT...I will confuse..it takes up a lot of time and isn't good on the weight...I will be the first to admit that I love to eat cookie doe and cake mix...always have and probably always will, BUT.....THEN THE POUNDS WILL START TO COME ON....anyhoo, I am now on the fence about keeping it or not..I originally got it for my daughter...so hopefully she will start using it or...........ELSE....okay so here is a little cupcake I did the with cricut cake..the butterflies are made from the machine using the cake basics cart...the CUPCAKE HOLDER is from the cutting cafe....Next is another new release from the CUTTING CAFE...FLOWER POT SHAPED CARD...I love this shaped set...it comes with a few sentiments also....see the video of how I made this below...I am so trying my best to get my videos clearer and sharper...I am using a flip hd...wondering if maybe i need to use a video camera and maybe on this last one...the lighting is to bright...any pointers are welcomed....
