KEEP CALM AND................

I see these KEEP CALM AND phrases just about everywhere now............so I designed a few sets over at the Cutting Cafe and this week we are featuring these sets on the Cafe's blog....
Here is my take using the 3 sets:

KEEP CALM AND...word shaped card

 

This first set of cards uses the KEEP CALM AND HAVE A GREAT BIRTHDAY and KEEP CALM AND REACH FOR THE STARS. The set also comes with a matching envelope in which I did them in polka dots.

(by the way, disregard the misspelling in the positive word) UGH

 

 Then I used the KEEP CALM AND.....word shaped card for this cupcake one....love the colors.

SCRAPBOOKING 24/7 AND MY CRAFT ROOM

Hello friends, what a glorious day today has turned out to be...nothing special going on, just such a beautiful breezy nice day..........

So did you see that Craftin Desert Diva's site was doing a link up party featuring craft rooms..........YIKES.................this link up party was just what I needed...I am always looking for more ways to decorate my room.....although I have had my room for about 6 months, it is sooooooooooo far from being done....I always tell my husband that it is only 20 to 40 percent done....that drives hims nuts..............hahahahaha considering that I have spent so much in designing it....(smile)...anyhoo I wanted to take part in the link up so some of you may have already seen these pictures but here there are again...........you can find all of my pictures to my room by clicking here on PINTEREST........

A VISIT TO THE THRIFT STORE

So I have been wanting one of these turning gadgets from HARBOR FREIGHT.....but I kept hearing stories about it having so many pieces and missing pieces....that was discouraging to me.........sooooooooo I recently saw this on pinterest:

and that led me to the thrift store in which I purchased these items:

and then turned them into these items:

 This was so easy to make, the only problem I had was trying to decide what color to do it....I may end up making another one all white a bit taller. Even the bottom part turns....that part was only $1.99....wow was I lucky to find the wooden spinner at the thrift store.

As far as the Gumball machine goes, I will recolor that one day to match my craft room and fill it with either yellow gumballs or vintage buttons......

BEAUTIFUL ROSE AND MORE

 So today is inspiration day over at The Cutting Cafe. We are featuring projects using the BEAUTIFUL ROSE SET.....I love this set for so many reasons...one being this cute memo sheet in the set. My daughter and I had wend to a fun store called CHARMING CHARLIE.....it is a colorful, awesome store....BUT THE BIG PROBLEM with the store is that it is CHEAP....so you end up spending more and more cause its so cheap...
Anyways I thought I would write her a note using one of the sheets in the set. I hardly ever use my handwriting, CAUSE I HATE IT....but it is something she can cherish....

 and here is a sneak peek of the store.....they have rounders of just about every color like this black and yellow...

Up next is a fun set of EVERYDAY SHAPE WINDOW TOP CARDS.....I love love love this set.

 

 

 The set also comes with numbers...this one was for my second child's 18th bd...............

TALL BOXES

Hello friends.....wow I can't believe how pretty it is outside....THE WIND IS GONE...
today I want to share two projects with ya. We are featuring projects using the TALL BOX TEMPLATE from the Cutting Cafe today. I decided to use some old Making Memories Acetate to make this first wedding box.....

I filled the box with Hershey Kisses and then added a sentiment stating A KISS A DAY WILL KEEP THE LAWYER AWAY....hahahahaha

Next I did another box with just the front window cut out....This box is perfect for putting one of those Bath and Body perfumes or lotion in.

Just popping in with a project using a new Hershey kiss thoughts of you bottoms from The Cutting Cafe. I also used the HERSHEY KISS TREAT BOX....this new set is perfect for sending someone down some chocolate with motivational messages on the bottom of the kisses........
