BE MINE SET.......................CARD PATTERNS

Hello everyone...well the word is out on the new gadget from Provo craft.....THE CRICUT CAKE...and I must say I gotta have it...I really want it...Lately I have been admiring the cake section at Michael's and had even thought about taking a Wilton class....well looks like the CRICUT CAKE will help me....................and I can use all of my old and new cartridges...YIPPEEEEEEEEEEE..

Okay I decided to take on another challenge the other day...CARD PATTERN....I am trying to get a bunch of Valentines day projects done so that when the day gets here, I can give to my family and friends....These 3 projects were made using the CONVERSATION CANDY BOX and the new HEART ACCORDION SET from the Cutting Cafe.

This one comes from the HEART ACCORDION set...this will be going to my mom after I get all of the kids to sign the inside of the accordion......I used some oh so yummy Kc company paper for this and the set comes with a matching envelope...Next up is a set for my little Benjamin...(still gotta make 3 more for my other kids)....the box is the CONVERSATION CANDY BOX..you know those cute little Valentine boxes that have the conversation hearts in them...I just realized though that the box I bought was slightly smaller then the TRADITIONAL ones they sell..oh well at least the widths are still the same and it fitted perfectly. The card comes from the HEART ACCORDION SET..in the set there is also a heart folded card with a matching envelope....this card is based on the new sketch over at CARD PATTERNS....
I used some suede red paper from doodlebug for the heart..and in the inside of the card I used the VALENTINES DAY COUPONS...Well have a great day and stay dry...hugs

supplies: all pattern paper is KC COMPANY...stamp sets used (the cutting cafe) - heart accordion set, conversation candy box, happy valentines day huge circle word.....Suede paper, doodlebug designs...CROCHET FLOWER..Paper blooms (etsy shop)

CUPCAKES ANYONE................

Well I thought I would make something a little sweet to look at, even though it looks NASTY outside...(smile)...I just released a Valentine's Day topper set over at The Cutting Cafe...which gave me a good reason to make some YUMMY Valentine's Day Cupcakes..gotta already make some more because the kids already ate these up....

This one is for my daughter..I used the CUPCAKE BOX for this one...and the sweetheart in the middle of the big heart is from the VALENTINE'S DAY TOPPER SET...I made these toppers to punch out perfectly with the HEART PUNCH from STAMPIN UP...so these would be easy for mass producing...The pattern paper is from KC COMPANY...I loves KC COMPANY stuff...and the pink fringe, well that was just some stash I had around..funky huh....It was actually longer, i just cut it a bit...Next is just a cupcake to match the boxed one....it is wrapped in a CUPCAKE WRAPPER...these wrappers are SUPER DUPER EASY to make and they are tall enough if you want to layer on the frosting high....so yes she gets both cupcakes...yumOf course I couldn't leave out Benjamin...so using some more KC COMPANY paper, I made him one to...I used the other topper from the set for him...Well have a great day...and thanks for visiting me today...hugs

I LOVE YOU AND A FARWELL FOR ME....

Hello everyone...and Happy New Year...
Well I have finally finished cleaning up my scrap space...good grief I have a mini store I tell ya...I arranged the things that I use closer to me and packed up almost all of my stamps since I don't use them that much...I will bring them all back out once I get my scrap space inside of my house..I work in the 3rd part of our garage..I will share a picture or two in a few days...nothing special...BY HEY IT'S MINE..(smile)...

Up first as you read from the title, I officially resigned from running the BBTB back on the first of January...I must say it was bittersweet for me...I love all those girls dearly, but for awhile now I had been toying with continuing to run the site or give it up...you can read all about it here...

Have you been to the Cutting Cafe lately...I have released so many new Valentine sets......There is something new for everyone....This card here uses one of the new cutting files called KISS KISS..I am starting to add more intricate cutting files to the store...so be on the look out for that...I will still offer even the intricate cutting files in PDF...I also used the I LOVE YOU BACKGROUND stamp on this card...the little arrow comes from a set called BECAUSE VALENTINES DAY ISN'T JUST FOR LOVERS...awesome set to make Valentine cards for others....You might remember that wide ribbon from my last card...well this is the last of it...I love that wide ribbon...gotta get some more...Lastly I had been promising pictures of my daughters room....some of you might even like the old look better then the new one...but it was TOO SOFT for my 13 year old..she wanted something BRIGHT AND FUNKY...we still have lots more to do...huge mirror above her dresser, a few more pictures etc...I made the quilt on her bed....her room is a pretty HUGE room...spoil child I tell ya...ONE DAY THIS ROOM WILL BE MY SCRAP ROOM...and yes the colors will be changed along with adding some hardwood floors...
OLD ROOM

NEW ROOMWell have a great Sunday...hugs
