7 THINGS ABOUT ME..........& SOME GOODIES FROM CARDS.......

Okay so believe it or not I have been tagged by a few people all within a few weeks.......All of you that have tagged me are just so sweet to even thing about little oh me...but I thank you....Each of you are so amazing: AMY, DANNI, NIKKI, (please forgive me if I left someone out.....I lost some of my emails)..........Anyways, please be sure to check out all these amazing ladies blogs, you will be in for a real treat.....I am not going to tag anyone new myself, because I think everyone is tired of me tagging them.........but do check out my BLOGROLL..............all of these ladies are FAB.....Okay so I need to list 7 facts about myself.....this might bore ya, because not that much going on with me right now...just a bunch of being MOMMY all day (smile).

1. I am a Christian and have been for as long as I can remember, but at this time in my life, I have a Yearning to be able to know Jesus to the fullest..he is the only way I get through my days.

2. My youngest son Benjamin is signing up for Soccer next week and I am not looking forward to it....Soccer is so like the longest season of a sport...GOOD BYE SATURDAYS...(but I will be a good mommy for him) (smile)

3. Although I am not able to have anymore children..(no more junk in the trunk down there)...if there was some invention to be able to have another...........I would.....(yulp even though I have 4)

4. I would love to be able to dance like DANCING WITH THE STARS....hubby and I are going to learn that one day.

5. When I scrap or shall I say, when I am crafting, I like complete silence...no music or TV....(I just can't focus).

6. I watch TV only about once a week and that is for the EXTREME HOME MAKEOVER show...other then that, I don't watch TV.

7. I am the youngest out of 3.....I have a brother and a sister.....brother is 6 years older then me and sister is 8 years older then me...so basically I somewhat grew up as an only child.......LOVED IT.

Well that's it.....hum this was fun....

Well I finally got my goodies in from CARDS the other day.....I am in the MARCH ISSUE and my card is on pages 166-167. This was a birthday card that I made for my daughter last year....

POOH AND FRIENDS HAPPY BIRTHDAY CARD

I decided to play with my Pooh and Friends Cricut cartridge tonight....This is a really fun cartridge.....the inside of the card is blank, but i guess a good phrase for the inside would be FROM THE POOH GANG ...thanks for looking... oh yeah, this will be available on my etsy shop....

LITTLE GIRL BIRTHDAY SET

Here is just a little fun set for one of my Scrapnfonts design team....I tell ya if you have never been to Scrapnfonts site before, you are in for a real treat...their fonts and doodlebats/dingbats are just so adorable and oh so affordable....They also have awesome printables to print out...I used their DB Love Pastries on this 3 piece set....Boxes were made using my expression machine and the hat was made using a template from Printmaster...This set will be offered in my Etsy store....

I AM SO HONORED.............MICKEY PACKAGE

I am so honored to have been chosen to be featured on a blog called INSPIRATIONAL CRAFT BLOGS..one of the team members Kristy Vernon showcased my Transparency card over there today..I had so much fun making this card..it was the first time I had used some yummy crochet flowers....which I happen to love...must get more of them from Rene...she does an awesome job. The Inspirational Craft Blogs is an awesome site...Go check out all the other projects..you are sure to be inspired...Thanks again Kristy.



Lately I have been so into making projects using postal brown wrap paper...I so love the way projects come out using this stuff and it is so CHEAP....can get lots of projects out of a roll...I picked up my roll from Michaels Arts and Craft store...On this little project, I used the postal wrap to wrap up a small gift for a dear friend of mine..I went to Disneyland last week and picked up a little something for her...She is Disney lover (smile)...I wrapped the package with the paper then embellished it with a Mickey head that was cut from the Mickey Font Cricut cartridge...The mickey head is made of vinyl...........love it, it was so easy to sew on...The scallops were made using the George cartridge with the help of the Design Studio software....



Well Hallmark Scrapbook sent me the exclusive DAISY CHAIN Cricut Cartridge today...so I think I will go play with it a bit....

SO GOOD TO BE HOME....................

Well I had a wonderful time the last few days in New Port Beach....talk about a wonderful, beautiful city by the water....LOVE IT....I flew down on Thursday to spend a few days with my hubby and just got back last night......We went to Disneyland with a few other friends and acted like a bunch of BRATY GROWN KIDS....he he he....besides all the other functions we had to go to, we just had a great time.....All and all, it is good to be back a little earlier then him, I miss my 4 kids (sign).....Here is my take on the new challenge going on over at the bbtb....The challenge was to use the ORIGINAL cut from the Printing Press cartridge.....Love this cut...I used Cosmo Cricket for this card.....Also I finally got my issue of the Paper crafts magazine that I am in this month.....It is my first publication with them.....YIPEEEEEEEEEEE......both of these cards can be found at my etsy shop.......The original card is slightly different though.....

I am also very honored to have been given 3 YOU MAKE MY DAY awards from: Sharon, DeeDee and Kazan.....these three women are super duper talented...you really really must check out their blogs...I am suppose to award others myself, but it is just way to hard for me, considering I would have to give everyone an award, but please do make sure you check out these ladies awards....

BEAUTIFUL GIRL..............

I really really really love this crown cut from the Happy Ever After Expression cartridge...oh it is so cute...Here is my take on the new challenge over at the bbtb site....I decided to make a crown that can actually fit on my daughter's head.....The next card is my take on sketch #5, I picked up the sketch from Tranquil Moments (Sonda) site....Super fun sketch...I made a matching envelope to go with the card...I actually used some of my new owl fabric die cuts from my etsy store....These owls are just so adorable....
