CARD FOR THE GIRLFRIEND?

Yulp can't believe it myself.....I just did a quick birthday card for my son's first girlfriend....Not many bells and whistles to it..he needed it like right away....it was actually really sweet that he even wanted me to make the card....he didn't want one from the store....so.......................just a little something I whipped up using some yummy making memories paper and doodlebug glitter paper................I did put one of my All occasion circle birthday stamps on it though...you can find this set here at the cutting cafe' site.

AW...MORE CUPCAKES..IN A BOX

Well I couldn't design a set of cupcake stamps without having a box to put the cards that I made out of the cupcakes in........This box fits 4 embellished cards with envelopes just PERFECT...and it even has a lid....Be sure to check out this box on my CUTTING CAFE' site....oh yeah, I forgot to mention that I changed the name of my cutting design shop to THE CUTTING CAFE'....I so love this name much better..My sis Teri, came up with this wonderful name....Remember also I am having a special if you purchase the set of CUPCAKE STAMPS, you get 2 other files for free..Click here for details.....You can find the quarter fold box with a lid here....Also the little cupcake hanging from the box is from a set that I hope to release real soon...still doing some fine tuning....

In other news, I got word from Craft n Things that they accepted 3 of my projects.....it is always so great to hear from them....and it is all new stuff that I haven't posted on my blogs...it is a NO NO to post anything on your blogs or galleries that you submit to them until AFTER it is published...

AW... SWEET ARTS PAPERIE

Two of my fellow Bitten By the Bug designers Krista Norman and Penny Shuberg (Awesome Mother and Daughter team) have just opened a new Paper Kit site called Sweet ArtsPaperie and sweet it is....Their kits are so yummy and they come in the sweetest packaging.....These two awesome ladies have done a wonderful job in putting together their kits with just the right matching papers and embellishments...I was so excited because I got to be their first customer....(smile).....Here are a few things I created with their September kit.....I am totally excited that they asked me to be their October Guest Designer...I can hardly wait to get my hands on their October kit....but for now, please head on over to their new site and order one of their September kits........Before they are all sold out....

HAPPY FALL

Just a quick little card I made today along with some other Paper Frills in a box...(see my etsy store to the right)...I know the pumpkin isn't your typical colors, but I just couldn't resist to use some of my new basic grey papers. This paper just kept saying pumpkin to me (smile).....It is loaded with orange rhinestones and felt leaves/stem.....I hope to be working on my Halloween/Fall projects soon.....I will also be posting a tutorial over at the Hallmark Ladybug site using fabric on a pumpkin.......with the Pazzles machine....So check back in a few days...

A LITTLE BIT OF THIS AND A LITTLE BIT OF THAT..

I have got lots to post today...also if you missed my little ones first day of school pictures, you can view them here..............Okay first, I am a bit excited, I was reading on another board that the October issue of Craft n things was out already...and.........I am their featured person this month....I NEVER thought I would be asked to be featured in a magazine, so I am super excited to see that magazine...Now I must go find it.....

Okay on to a few projects.....This first one is my little take on the new challenge going on over at the bbtb....the challenge was to use the strawberry from the INDIE ART SOLUTIONS cricut cart...this cart is super fun....you really need to check out the other girls takes...they are all darling...I decided to make some sweet smelling pillows...I saw the ideal from one of my favorite blogs called CAPTURE THE MOMENT.....Anyhoo, everything is made of fabric on this project...I used my pazzles on most of it...I love how the pazzles draws the wording....

Next, someone I know will be having a baby really soon and I wanted to just send her a little something..so I made this cute little box with a window in the front...the box is filled with Calvin Klein t-shirts

And lastly, but surely not least, is a birthday card that I made for a friend that has the SAME birthday as mine.....( I will be 40 this Thursday..)...(I don't think I look it, but the GOOD LORD, knows that I feel it sometimes)...anyhoo, this friend of mine ALWAYS makes all of her cards and it drives me coo coo when I get a handmade card from her and then I give her a store bought one.......so.....this year I made her card...I hope she likes it...Well have a good evening all....All the kids will be home in a few...YIKESSSSSSSSSSSSSS

A FEW THINGS TO SHARE...............

Boy I can't believe that school starts in jew under a week...........this Monday....it has been a very hot fast summer...............Anywho here are a few projects that I have been working on lately. The first card SWEET HEART............I used one of my new cricut cartridges called Graphically Speaking....boy I love this cartridge....so many fun words on it...

The next card BIRTHDAY EXPRESS.........is for the current challenge going on over at the bbtb...boy those designers over there are just awesome awesome awesome...you really must check out their take on this cute.........you can view the blog right here.....I used some yummy yummy Daisy d papers for the train.

For the last card.....I decided to do somewhat of a Easter card.....YOU QUACK ME UP....love this phrase....great card to write HAPPY EASTER in the inside of it.....I used the Cricut doodlecharms for the ducky.....the ovals are from the Pazzles machine....

HIGH 5......HAPPY FALL

Kendria from Cutesy Glam Designs was sweet enough to send me some of her awesome CHIPBOARD buttons....they are so fun to work with...Here are a few projects I made with these cute buttons... This first card HIGH 5 comes from the new GRAPHICALLY SPEAKING CRICUT CARTRIDGE...this cart is super fun......I love it.......Used some from Cosmo paper and bazzil scallop paper, hero's art pearls.....


This next card features more of the chipboard buttons....I was in a FALL mood when I did this card...I had some fabric that came in one of my Scralet Lime kits....I love the feel to this fabric and the stems and flowers are all made of felt....with this hot weather we have been having lately, I am all ready for fall..............both of these cards will be added to my Etsy store in a bit.

THE WITCH IS IN.....HAPPY HALLOWEEN

One of the talented designers over at Hallmark Scrapbook (Sharon) was hosting a challenge to use the BROOM from the PAPER DOLLS CARTRIDGE and I thought I would give it a try.....I love making HALLOWEEN CARDS....i think it might have something to do with the colors and all..........Anyways the hat is a doodlebat (scrapnfonts.come) that I converted to cut with my pazzles...I used some fun basic grey paper on this long card and some awesome die cuts with a view star paper....

16 ALREADY...................

My goodness my oldest will be 16 this Friday......here is just a little funky looking kind of birthday hat for his 16th birthday....I found this cute little hat on the internet and converted it to be able to cut out on my pazzles machine..........not a whole bunch of bells and whistles on this shaped card, but I think it is just right for a teenage boy........

SWIMMING LIKE A FISH............

Oh how I love summer.........and now that we got the pool all down in the back, I am loving it more....KEEPS, the kiddos busy (smile)....Here is my take on Kazan's Clark sketch over at 2 SKETCHES FOR U..........There was recently a death in the family and I was watching two of my husbands nieces while their Nana and grandpa went to a funeral. When these two girls saw that we had a pool, they could hardly wait to go swimming and boy did they swim...For two days, they swam from like 11:00am to 6:00pm, they had a ball.....The photo isn't the best, kind of dark, but this girl surely SWIMS LIKE A FISH....I used one of the new Scrapnfonts.com font sets called LD NEW ARRIVAL OUTLINE for the SUMMER FUN which I cut out using my pazzles machine...I also cut out the chipboard scallops around the picture on the pazzles. The little fish I found on the Internet and converted it to cut on the pazzles..........I TELL YA I LOVE THIS MACHINE....

I have always wanted to make a card using a SOCK.....I found this cute little sock on google and decided to make this little SOCK card...I cut out the sock with my pazzles machine....

SWEET 16.................

Here is just a card I did for an etsy customer.....I was able to use the Pazzles machine to draw the word SWEET and draw the SCROLL on the numbers.........AMAZING I TELL YA.......I just love this machine.....the numbers were also cut on the machine.....
