SWEET BABY...LAYOUT

Wow I can't believe that I have done 2 layouts in one week....and I am truly enjoying it....YIPEE...here is just another pic that was taken at the Halloween store...I used two different files from the Cutting Cafe: SWEET BABY HUGE CIRCLE WORD AND the HAPPY HALLOWEEN BACKGROUND
This is my oldest child, so full of life, so darn silly....(smile)...thank the Lord, it is a Halloween baby and NOT THE REAL THING...hehehehe

SOME PUDDLES AND A MASK....

He he he...funny title...so I am sitting here looking through some photos and asking myself why I don't scrap as much as I use to...I mean I really really use to like it...the styles and props that people use these days are just fabulous, but I must say it really isn't my style...maybe that is one reason...My style is so plain when it comes to layouts that I look like a beginner....then I asked myself...WAIT A MINUTE a beginner just cause I don't put a bunch of bells and whistles on my layouts....so for now on, when I do a layout here and there...I AM GOING TO SHARE IT...it is my own style...and not worry that it isn't like some of the FABULOUSLY talented scrapbookers that I...my sis has been telling me all along that I should scrap more...she is one of those FABULOUS layout girls...you can check her stuff out here...(love ya girl)...okay ENOUGH already....this layout uses a bunch of stuff from my stash...some halloween my minds eye and the happy Halloween border and line paper journaling at the bottom are from the cafe site...MY KIDS ARE SILLY...Up next is a sweet little card to bring some sunshine to my blog...the weather is so darn rainy, but hey I am not really complaining cause my plants in the front of my house and back are growing so nicely....can't wait to see it all in full bloom....This card uses the new ONE SPRING DAY set...this set has over 90 images in it...color and black and white..one of my all time favorites....I will upload a video later....I added some glitter to the puddles and raindrops, rhinestones to the umbrella trimming and did some 3ding...

THE SUN WILL COME OUT TOMORROW.....

Yes the weather outside is frightful, but when ya see that rainbow, just know that the sun will be out tomorrow...well maybe not the exact next day...BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN...(smile)..
With all the rain lately, I decided to make a RAINBOW SHAPED CARD....I did it in a really bright yellow with a few pastel colors....this new RAINBOW SHAPED CARD comes with a few other arched titles....fun card to send to someone that is needing a little sunshine...the inside reads: BUT THE HEART OF A FRIEND..Next is another fun clock card...this card came together very quick because it comes from the COLORFUL CLOCK set...this set is of coursed colored.....I also used the huge circle word from the ITS ABOUT TIME SET....thanks for visiting me today....hugs

SPRING IS JUST AROUND THE CORNER....A FEW CHALLENGES

So Easter will be here before you know it....I have 2 Easter cards to share with ya today and another bike card.....
I decided to play along over at Moxie Fab with this weeks Tuesday Trigger....awe.......i Love this picture we had to work with...MY TAKE ON THE PHOTO
For some reason I am so in love with this bike even though there are several different ones on the LETS GO FOR A RIDE set from the Cutting Cafe....this time I paired it up with the BICYCLE BACKGROUND SET....and then added the little butterfly that comes from the SOCIAL BUTTERFLY SET....see video in making this card below..

Up next are two fun Easter cards
Moxie fab word is having a fun paper piece challenge....i love paper piecing with the cutting cafe stamps.....these last two cards are for that challenge...

...First one EGGS....uses the EASTER SET 3 and the EASTER BINGO CARDS....I also used the ASSORTED SCALLOPS to do the scallop frame....
And my final card US CHICKS LOVE HANGING OUT TOGETHER.....comes also from the EASTER SET 3....don't cha just love these chicks.....

BOOK BOX PROJECT

Hello everyone.....so tell me do you have any lovers of reading and I do mean people that like to read ALL DAY if they could....well I have two in my family...my daughter and my hubby....to tell you how much my daughter reads, basically a restriction for her would be to tell her she can't read for a day or two....she reads that much...she want to be a writer...she has even written a few books..I am so proud of her and my husband....recently my husband bought a Nook, but I can't get my daughter to want one..she loves the feel of the actual book.............anyhoo, I love this BOOK BOX FILE....below is a video on making this project......

LET'S GO FOR A RIDE.....................

Well hubby and I decided to buy bikes last week...or shall I say new bikes....now we can hardly wait for the spring time to come to do some serious riding together and with the kids....we rode a bit after getting the bikes, but lately the weather has been really cold and rainy so we will have to put the bikes aside for a bit.....I thought I would use the new LETS GO FOR A RIDE set and make him a quick card and send to his job....I love how this card came out....SO QUICK, no fuss, straight to the point....I ended up printed the bike on transparency paper...added a few rhinestones and stitching...then a scallop border to the inside and that was it....you can check out this set here....hugs

BABY SHOWER FAVORS

Well the baby shower last weekend was a total success...now I just can't wait for the little one to make his appearance...I love babies...anyhoo, here are the baby shower favors that I made....I decided to go with a yellow and lime type green color....There are chocolate covered raisins in the plastic containers and the other favors are chocolate bars....(Hersey, dark chocolate and Mr. Good bar)......I used the new BABY SHOWER THANK YOUS to make these favors....I ended up customizing a few of the tags with her name of them..these were quick and fun to make....I just used some postal wrap to wrap the candy bars..

MOMMY TO BE AND BABY GIFT

Awww........................nothing like a new baby on the way...I so loved it when I was pregnant..I had the best pregnancies...so I was so blessed....anyhoo, my niece is expecting soon and I am throwing her a baby shower next week......so I thought I would make a 1st Mother's day card and a little card with matching box for her.....

up first is this adorable little CAP SHAPED CARD with matching box.The cap shaped card is a new file over at the Cafe....it comes with 7 different sentiments...curved and straight.....there is even a clover in the set....just in case you want to make a St. Patrick's Day hat for someone....the box is from the 8 by 5 inch box with dividers and the little tag on the box is from the All occasion tag set.....there is just a little slugger outfit in the box...oh so cute....I added the little trimmings to match the puff that i put on top of the hat....then little its a boy tag is from the baby mini words set....Up next is a 1ST MOTHER'S DAY card for her....this flower comes from the new BEAUTIFUL FLOWERS set.......this set is HUGE HUGE...check it out here.....and the sentiment comes from the FOR THAT WONDERFUL MOM set....this set is awesome for making cards for your other family and friends that are mothers.....below is a little video on making this card..well have a great day....

FEW MORE VALENTINE PROJECTS........................

Wow I will be so ready when it is time for Valentine's day...all little gifts for teachers and friends for the kids will BE DONE...YIPEEEE...

Okay got 2 projects for ya....first up are these AWESOME little tubes that I found at my local scrapbook store (Stamper Corner)....I filled them with red hots and Hersey Kisses...I then wrapped them with some borders from the new ASSORTED HEART BORDER sets from the Cutting Cafe...love this set...the tags are from the VALENTINE FAMILY AND FRIENDS and the 12 VALENTINE CIRCLE WORDS.. SEE VIDEO BELOW ON MAKING THIS PROJECT...Up next is a little box I made using the CANDY BOX template and the ASSORTED HEART BORDERS (the little mini sentiments in the hearts) and the ASSORTED HEART CARDS...this card set has 9 different heart cards in it and 2 envelopes....the dog is from the ANIMAL AND BUG LOVE set...Well that's it for me...I think I might finish up some painting this weekend...hugs

A LITTLE BIT OF THIS AND A LITTLE BIT OF THAT...

Got a few different projects to share with ya today...before I get into these projects, you may have notice that I have posted a few cards over on etsy...I think I will from time to time sell a few cards again here and there....okay first up are some heart cookies that my son and I baked then decorated...trying to decide what we want to give the teachers for Valentine's Day this year...these are actually quite tasty...I used the HOLIDAY TAG SET for the tags...

Next up is another card using the ANIMAL AND BUG LOVE SET....I think I will be sending this little card to my daughter....with a little note in the inside telling her not to forget mommy loves you....

Any finally is a card using some cute cute cute owl images from scrapnfonts.com... the owl comes from a set called DB FUNKY OWLS.....cute set I tell ya...I ended up coloring the owl in my bosskut and then printed it out...this card will fit into a business size card envelope....well that's all FOR NOW....hugs

Hello everyone, I have a few quick Valentine's day project to share with ya....I recently just released a file called WORDS OF LOVE COLORED set and this set is way cool....you will be able to get lots of Valentines day projects done using this set...here are a few quick cards I did in a matter of an half an hour....Up next is a new HEART GOODIE BAG HOLDER....another fun template to make some special Valentine projects for your family and friends....I used the WORDS OF LOVE FILE on this set as well as the VALENTINE MINI WORDS...have a great day....hugs

THIS CAKE IS ALL HEART..........................

it really is.....I have two projects to share with ya today....both use the new THIS CAKE IS ALL HEART SET....basically this set came out with Valentine babies in mind...I happen to know a few people with Valentine birthdays so I originally designed this set for that reason...and then I decided to throw in a few Wedding sentiments...the first card uses one of the colored images and the shaped card base...I first distressed a piece of white paper using Tim Holtz Antique Linen and then printed the image onto the paper...I love the vintage look...then I used my copics to color in brown row of hearts a bit darker....I recently picked up the dark brown lace and so loved the way it looked with the tealish/baby blueish hearts..Next I just used one of the black and white images and made a real quick Valentine birthday card...the cake is in 3d...SEE VIDEO BELOWthanks for visiting me...hugs
