I LOVE YOU AND A FARWELL FOR ME....

Hello everyone...and Happy New Year...
Well I have finally finished cleaning up my scrap space...good grief I have a mini store I tell ya...I arranged the things that I use closer to me and packed up almost all of my stamps since I don't use them that much...I will bring them all back out once I get my scrap space inside of my house..I work in the 3rd part of our garage..I will share a picture or two in a few days...nothing special...BY HEY IT'S MINE..(smile)...

Up first as you read from the title, I officially resigned from running the BBTB back on the first of January...I must say it was bittersweet for me...I love all those girls dearly, but for awhile now I had been toying with continuing to run the site or give it up...you can read all about it here...

Have you been to the Cutting Cafe lately...I have released so many new Valentine sets......There is something new for everyone....This card here uses one of the new cutting files called KISS KISS..I am starting to add more intricate cutting files to the store...so be on the look out for that...I will still offer even the intricate cutting files in PDF...I also used the I LOVE YOU BACKGROUND stamp on this card...the little arrow comes from a set called BECAUSE VALENTINES DAY ISN'T JUST FOR LOVERS...awesome set to make Valentine cards for others....You might remember that wide ribbon from my last card...well this is the last of it...I love that wide ribbon...gotta get some more...Lastly I had been promising pictures of my daughters room....some of you might even like the old look better then the new one...but it was TOO SOFT for my 13 year old..she wanted something BRIGHT AND FUNKY...we still have lots more to do...huge mirror above her dresser, a few more pictures etc...I made the quilt on her bed....her room is a pretty HUGE room...spoil child I tell ya...ONE DAY THIS ROOM WILL BE MY SCRAP ROOM...and yes the colors will be changed along with adding some hardwood floors...

365 CHALLENGE....XOXO..HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY GIRLFRIEND

Well with the new year upon us, I have decided that when I make a card or an altered project, it is going to be for a purpose...basically no more making stuff just to sit around....so.....most of my stuff will have titles like FOR A FRIEND, FAMILY MEMBER, NEIGHBOR etc..real meaning stuff that I can send to them or hand deliver...I have several cards/projects in my prossession that I created either for a CALL or just because I wanted to do a challenge and they just have no meaning...so they just sit and sit here...gotta send them to some place where they can be used...OKAY ENOUGH OF THAT...here is my first card that will be going to a friend...HEY Valentine's day isn't just for lovers...remember it is all about love and I LOVE ALL OF MY FRIENDS.....(smile)...365 issued the PERFECT challenge for me to use two of the new CUTTING CAFE SETS...one being my favorite called XOXO BACKGROUND printable stamp...love this and the other set called: VALENTINE FAMILY AND FRIENDS...it has some sentiments for those that are not your LOVER.....I used some way fabulous red glitter paper to make my scallops on the card then topped it off with a wide ribbon...make sure you play along over at 365 CARD CHALLENGES...those ladies rock...thanks for visiting me today...HUGS

MORE CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS

CLICK ON THE PICTURES TO SEE A BIGGER VIEW

Hello everyone, just posting a few more decorations....

I moved this tree that I made into our family room..this was that one that I made all of the ornaments on...

Just a little santa boot tree on the coffee table in the family room...there is a funny story why this isn't decorated...I told my little Ben to decorate the tree with the little ornaments and later I went into the family room and he had put the ornaments just on the edges..he is so silly, but I left it that way...kind of cute...

close up of the small tree by the fireplace in the family room.

a little further view of the tree.

another view...will share more later...thanks for visiting me...hugs

VALENTINE.....LOVE AND MORE STUFF.....

I know I didn't dare make a VALENTINE project when we haven't even made it to Christmas or the NEW YEAR....what's up with me..(smile)...I just couldn't resist myself in making a card with one of the new HEARTS BACKGROUND stamps from THE CUTTING CAFE..I used some fun MY MINDS EYE paper, fun brown Doodlebug glitter paper and some blue bling paper..you can find one of the new background sets here.
Next up is my take on the new challenge over at the BBTB...Enfys was our host this week...that girl is good I tell ya.....She challenged us to use the RIBBON FRAME from the Joys of the Season cartridge...I will admit, I didn't know what to do with this cut...I must say that I like what I came up with, BUT wished I would have put my daughter in the frame instead of my son...it kind of looks like a GIRLIE frame to me...oh well up on my tree it goes..
I leave ya with a few more pictures of my decorations....
not many decorations on the dining room table...

picture of my china cabinet in the dining room...just some snowman and garlands on the edges of the cabinet

isn't this awesome, it is a HUGE pine cone...I have one one each side of the entrance of the dining room...I love these things...

here's the tree in the living room....not a close-up though....there are a total of 4 trees in the house..2 big and 2 small....I'll share more later..
thanks for visiting me today..
