What a BEAUTIFUL DAY.............& A few projects to share

I am up in Lake Tahoe for a few days and my oh my have you every stop to look around you at all the WONDERFUL, BEAUTIFUL things around you that the good Lord placed around us...........wow often when I am just at home, I will go into my backyard and just be in total amazement of the pretty flowers, their colors all so rich and different, put together just the way God wanted it........it really makes for a beautiful day and yesterday and today is no exception............Yesterday while my husband was in a meeting a few of us spouses, about 18 of us, went horseback riding up in the hills/mountains and oh my although my butt was killing me when I got off the horse, it was BREATH TAKING, STUNNING to name a few......but it was a rough ride...I have been blessed to ride a horse before around Pebble Beach and it was awesome, but this time around riding through the forest was a BIT different................

Here is a few photos of me....the one were I have a somewhat amazed face is because I had gum in my pocket and the darn horse kept picking at my pocket....and the last photo shows me getting off of the horse............tomorrow a few of us ladies are going to go have breakfast by the lake and then take a little walk and pick up pine cones....boy they have some awesome pine cones here....hopefully we won't get stuck in the snow or rain......yikesssssssss...

On another note, here are a few projects that I finished BEFORE I left for my trip....The first is my take on the this weeks challenge over at the bbtb..the challenge was to use the pear cut from the HOME ACCENTS cart....love it....you can check out the other ladies take here.....
