TIME TO SETTLE DOWN WITH A GOOD BOOK..

I have two really strong readers in my house...my daughter and her father...they both are reading addicts...unlike their mother...I must admit, besides reading the bible, I can't sit and read nothing....not a quality that I am happy with either....My daughter reads books after books each month and is quite depress when she doesn't have anything new to read..............anyhoo I admire them both....this week the challenge over at the bbtb was to use the BOOKMARK from the ANIMAL KINGDOM cart....I really enjoyed this challenge...This bookmark will go to my daughter...hop on over and check out what the other ladies did...they are so darn talented...you can view their takes here.

supplies: american crafts pattern paper, bazzill cardstock, artbeads.com rhinestones, american crafts rubons, buttons foof a la, and ribbon craft supply.

THE WHEELS ON THE BUS GO ROUND AND ROUND....

One of my fabulous team members Sharon Caudle of The Cutting Cafe and The bbtb (I know I am lucky to have her) is also on another team called THREE CLOVERS were they issue challenges for Thursdays and since I am on a roll on trying to do as many challenges here and there as I can, I decided to join this one this week........the challenge is to use black and white with a touch of another color...................AND......since I love me some black and white...I was excited to do this challenge....I had just released a new set of SCHOOL BUS DRIVER stamps over at The Cutting Cafe and couldn't wait to use the bus stamp...It is funny, I had did a set of stamps for: teachers, teachers aides, coaches, but nothing for Bus Drivers...Then I got an email from Jenn with a request.........and I am so glad she requested it...I mean after all, shouldn't we thank our children's bus drivers for getting our children to school safely everyday.............I also used the Thanks Teacher abc 123 background stamp from the cutting cafe.....Here is my take on the challenge..:

Supplies: Bazzil paper, pattern paper - American Crafts and Simply Luxe, rubons - 7gypsies, stamps - the cutting cafe (school bus driver), background abc 123 stamp - the cutting cafe, Ribbon - craft supply

TEACHER PROJECT AND CUTTING CAFE SPECIAL

I think I might be a bit late on the Teacher Appreciation week, BUT.............hey school isn't out for another 3 weeks, so I am sure it will be fine to give my son's teacher a little gift ANYTIME....before school is out...One thing that my son's teacher is ALWAYS asking for that they need extra in the class is GLUE.....so I thought in addition to maybe a gift card, I made this 2 piece set....Papers are by Reminisce (I can count)....but all of the other items are from The Cutting Cafe:This long window box is from the cafe site.....The Thanks Teacher circle word is from the cafe site.
This smaller square box has glue sticks in it...I used the Candy box from the cafe site to make this box.
I also use the TEACHER BACKGROUND stamp to cover up the glue sticks.
Okay for all my customers of The Cutting Cafe, what would be a Mother's Day without having a special involving crafting goodies.....so.............the cafe site is having a 2 for 1 special starting today through Monday night.....and all of you that have already made purchases from the Cafe site today, don't worry, you can still get in on this special...click here for details.
