Here is a quickie that I did for someone that is very very very close to me.....I am so proud of her...I used the new CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR WEIGHT LOSS set.....I wanted this to be a really cheerful and bright card....I wish her nothing but the best.............

FOR MY TIE-RIFIC DAD.......

Hello everyone, what a glorious day....the weather is just wonderful....around 93 today in Sac town....
Over at the Cafe we have our monthly inspiration projects up...we are featuring cards for guys....so be sure to check that out and leave a comment to be able to win ANY 3 sets from the Cutting Cafe....also with ANY order you place through midnight tonight you will automatically get this new file:it is called FOR MY TIE-RIFIC DAD - it can be used for Father's Day and Birthdays...here is a super quick card I made using the set..were talking 15 minutes or less to create...the diamond tie has a bit of a glaze on it for a really nice funky look (smile)..Also with my son just graduating he needed a few thank you cards to send out....so this new set called THANK YOU CARD...was perfect....just print and fold....of course they could have been made a bit fancy and cute, but they were just perfect for a guy to give out....and this is a super affordable set....only .99 cent....

BABIES.............

I so love babies...I guess that is why I had 4 and probably could have had another.....(smile)....anyhoo, I decided to play along again with MADE IT MYSELF MONDAYS......it is a fun group of people sharing all types of projects...be sure to check them out and play along with us...

I have two fun cards to share with ya today that feature two new sets over at The Cutting Cafe..
ONESIE SHAPED CARD
ELEPHANT SHAPED CARD
I so love these both...they can be used for lots of fun cards.....

First up is the ONESIE SHAPED CARD....this set comes with 6 different inserts to place in the inside of the card if you choose...from baby thank you's to baby shower invites..
I used some fun October Afternoon paper and then some really pretty deep brown lace...the sweet baby circle is also from the Cafe...to do the scallops on the edges of the onesie, I used my Nestabilities...then loaded them with glitter.

Up next is the ELEPHANT SHAPED CARD....this is a really fun shaped card also...I decided to do my elephant in yellow polka dots and then I did the ear in deep brown felt.....

FOR MY BERRY SWEET FRIEND

I thought I would play along with the sketch at MOJO MONDAY......I thought it was super cute....I used the new ELISHA JEAN BERRY SWEET image....Elisha started out very light skin complexed and then I didn't like it cause it was to orange....I gotta get some more flesh color copics....so I ended up making her darker...can't say I am in love with it though...errrr.....
anyhoo, the little mini tag (friends) is from the BIRTHDAY MINI WORDS...hugs

ALWAYS IN MY HEART & RUBBER BOOTS LAYOUT

Hello everyone....well I think summer is finally going to arrive here soon....My flowers will be doing a HAPPY DANCE SOON.....(smile).....I have 2 projects to share with ya today.....
First is a sweet little card made using the MIKALA ANN WITH A BIG HEART....I left her dress white and just colored in the dots...there is glitter on her shoes and on some of the dots....
and next is just a layout I did using the sketch 159 by Creative Scrappers
With the weather getting better, me and these boots will be spending lots of time together....(smile)....have a fantastic day all.....

Few things to share

Well things are finally calming down a bit here around the Easter home...Kids are out and are invading my SPACE....hehehe...all jokes aside, it is good to have them home for a few months...

If ya haven't been to the Cafe in awhile, I have just released 4 different Elisha Jean and friends sets...they are super cute...holding a big heart, apple and strawberry....Then there is a set with frames and the girls are holding baskets that you can add either small bunches of flowers, hearts and strawberries...cute stuff.....My first project uses the RUBY J. BASKET JUST FOR YOU set....I am still trying to work on my coloring of darker skin tones...using copics...I might have to break out my water color crayons from Stampin Up...that is what I used to use...anyways...
I thought this image would be cute to put on a tag and then wrap up a apple in cellophane...the abc border is from the SCHOOL BORDERS set....this gift is super quick to make...you could even put a gift card if you wanted on the back side of the tag...

Up next are two guy cards...my oldest will be turning 19 this month and then there is Father's Day right around the corner....We are featuring Guy cards over at The Cafe next week...so be sure to check out all the Guy cards in our next Monthly Inspiration....
Both of these were made using the CRUISIN' BY TO SAY HI set. The HAPPY BIRTHDAY BACKGROUND 2 is also from The Cutting Cafe.

And lastly is a fun card I made using the new SURFBOARD SHAPED CARD...this is a fun shaped card set with several different layers...there are also 2 different surfboards in the set....

YEAR END TEACHER GIFT AND TOOTH FAIRY BOX...

Okay don't say I didn't warn ya....hehehe....I have some fun projects to share with ya today....
First is the project I made for my sons teacher for tomorrow....tomorrow is their last day of school...YIPEEE....I used two new sets from the Cutting Cafe....MATCHBOOK BOX SET and MINI NOTE PAD AND CARD SET....I must say I love both of these sets....

The MATCHBOOK BOX SET comes with a matchbook cover as well as a regular lid..I used the regular lid on this project
The JUST A LITTLE SOMETHING FROM ME TO YOU tag is also from the Cutting Cafe
Here is the inside of the box...see that red lid..this comes in the set also...it is a divider so that you can hide or divide things...underneath, I put some handmade envelopes for the teacher to use...all she has to do is pull on the loop to lift.....I made some little creme wraps to go around the cards and note cards
envelopes....this is also a template in the mini note card and card set....
A few of the note cards....these are so cute..I actually matted them on another piece of cardstock...there are 18 different note pad images in the set
and here are the little note folded cards I made....I just used the apple shaped card...(I shrunk it down) and the numbers embossing folders from Provo Craft
I had my little Benjamin write a little note to his teacher and then we added a Starbucks card in the envelope with his note....this will be the first thing she see's when she opens the box.

Next up is a TOOTH FAIRY box that I made for my niece....she is a total sweetheart....I used the new TOOTH SHAPED CARD SET for this project as well as the TOOTH MATCHBOOK BOX SET.....
I added a little ribbon pull so that she could easily open up the matchbook
Here is the inside of the box.....little records that she can keep when - where and details about each tooth

and she will be able to put all her teeth underneath this divider that comes in the set.

ROAD TRIP ANYONE................................

Well the weather is nice, the kids are just about ready to be done with school...so that means it is ROAD TRIP TIME.....not sure where we are going this year as a family....ANYHOO.....

These projects below are for SANDY'S CHALLENGE...check it out...she is fantastic...

There is a new fun couple of sets over at The Cutting Cafe....both of these two cards come from the set called ITS ROAD TRIP TIME....this set is filled with some fun stuff for a road trip...there is a black and white and colored road trip confetti sheet that I love....you can cut out the greetings or use the full sheets.....

The set also comes with two shaped card signs....I used the Interstate one on this first card....and the VACATION TIME comes from the confetti sheet....I thought this would be fun to either put two pictures in or send to a friend who is going on a trip.


This last one here uses the cute car with luggage and the black and white confetti sheet...I also used the ASSORTED SCALLOP SET 1 for the brown scallops going around the card..

HAWAII, CARS AND SENIOR BALLS...........................

Boy it seems like forever since I have posted anything, but I have been super busy....first off we just got back from a week long trip to Hawaii and boy it was a much needed trip....while I was gone my son had his senior ball....see pic below...aren't they the cutest couple...she is a real sweetheart....

Okay I have 3 cards to share with ya today...all come from the new CRUISIN' BY TO SAY HI SET...this is a very fun set..there are 3 different cars in the set.....the images come in black and white for coloring in as well as some colored images....I tried to do a variety of projects with the set using the one car....
This first one I just used one of the smaller cars that was already colored....I also used for the little tag the VALENTINES DAY MINI WORDSNext up CRUISIN' BY TO SAY HI I paper pieced the larger car....the set comes with a few pieces to paper piece the cars....add some rhinestones to the wheels and the street is from the ON THE ROAD HUGE STAMP...and finally (my favorite)...this one was super duper quick..I based it on the MOJO CHALLENGE MOJO190..I just printed the car on kraft paper and added some doodling along with two red rhinestones to the car and that was it for the car...then just did a bit of crazy stitching around the car in red...the little mini circle is from the GOODBYE HUGE CIRCLE WORD...I just reduced it in size...Well that is it for me....I leave ya with a pic of my oldest and his girlfriend getting ready to go to their senior ball...picture isn't the best...I just copied it from their facebook page....hugs
