Hello friends,  this week is going to be a BIG week for the Cutting Cafe........in the line of specials that is. First we have our Cyber Monday Sale that will start later today and then on Wednesday the team is making projects using their favorite sets..................AND I WILL BE BUNDLING UP MOST OF THE SETS and offering them for a fraction of the price............SO be on the look out for all that good stuff (smile)

I choose to use for my favorite the new HEXAGON SHAPED CARD SET...

 I also used the BEEHIVE SHAPED CARD SET for the bees.

Of course since I am now officially addicted to weekly challenges I am linking this card up with the latest THE PLAY DATE CAFE challenge...I swear I had the hardest time trying to get the colors right on this challenge, BUT I SO LOVED THE COLORS....

Birthday Candles

Sooooooooooooo I have officially decided that I LOVE doing challenges...today I have combined two challenges to create this card:

The candles is a new release over at The Cutting Cafe called BIRTHDAY CANDLES and it is perfect for putting as many candles as you want a on card or other craft project and OF COURSE I had to use the BOW TIE - RIBBON TEMPLATE for the brown bow...it just makes it so easy to add any color bow you want with this template.

I simply fell in love with the colors over at the ColourQ Challenge #145......those girls rock...good grief. Here is a picture of the colors:

SUMMER MEMORIES

Hello all, tomorrow the Cutting Cafe will have some FLIPPIN AWESOME projects to share with you all....We are featuring projects using the FLIP FLOP SHAPED CARD and the FLIP FLOP LAUNDRY LINE SET....

I decided to use the FLIP FLOP shaped card...I could see myself sporting these cute flip flops...I also use the SUMMER MINI WORDS...for the little tag.

JOHN 14: 1-3

Got some awful news today that my neighbors lost their son in a horrible car accident...he was only 26 years old..My heart just breaks for the family....I thank God each and everyday for his mercy in watching over me and my entire family...

I wanted to make a nice card for the family so I looked to a few online card challenges to help me out and I used the JOHN 14: 1-3 bible verse from the Cutting Cafe.

 

I played along with the following challenges to help me create this card:

MORE SHAPED CARD FUN

Happy Thursday night everyone...........I hope everyone had a great 4th of July holiday...we ended up going to see Spider man in 3d....I have to admit I really enjoyed it...

Okay I decided to take on a few more challenges today to help me create these shaped cards.......
First up is this newly released CANDLE SHAPED CARD 2 from the Cutting Cafe. The set features two different candle shaped cards....

This first one is with stars on it and it is for CR84FN57 Challenge, which focus on the color pink.

 Next in the same set is another candle shaped card with just plain candles....but I used a few matching papers to go along with the dino sticker...both of these candle shaped cards also are for DUTCH DARE CARD CHALLENGE 172......which is to create a card for a child.

 

 Next is another new release over at the Cutting Cafe.....A BALLOON SHAPED CARD

I also used the new BOW TIE - RIBBON template.........i love this template.

 AND finally are two MAP SHAPED CARDS....also new over at The Cutting Cafe
 This first one uses the MAP SHAPED CARD along with the new THE 50 STATES BACKGROUND set.

 Here is another take on the MAP SHAPED CARD.....this time I found some paper that had an awesome vacation background on it and just added a little sentiment and a few rhinestones...

LOOKING OUT MY WINDOW SILL

So have you seen the new WINDOW SILL SHAPED CARD at the Cutting Cafe........it is sooooooooo cute. I decided to do a few challenges to help with my cards.

First up, over at DUTCH DARE # 171 their challenge was to use BUTTERFLIES on a project. I used butterflies on both of my window shaped cards. The window sill template has two different window sills....A plain one and one with shutters....Here is the plain one.

The I Care mini tag is from the EVERYDAY MINI WORDS....love mini words.

 AND HERE IS the one with SHUTTERS.......That kraft bow at the top is from the new BOW TIE - RIBBON TEMPLATE.

 Remember even if you don't own a cutting machine, all of the CUTTING CAFE files come in PDF format for hand cutting.

Hello everyone, popping in with another challenge card. This time I decided to play along with JUST US GIRLS #142...I really loved the color scheme to their challenge.

Here is my take on it, I used the following two sets from the Cutting Cafe:

BOW TIE - RIBBON TEMPLATE AND MORE

Hello everyone and HAPPY SATURDAY....boy what a gorgeous day it is here in California. Today I want to share a few challenge cards and one exciting new template just released from the Cutting Cafe called BOW TIE - RIBBON TEMPLATE - CUTTING FILE...

This bow tie is so fun to work with. It is perfect for making matching paper ribbons and bows for your cards and other projects. It comes in several different sizes for layer.

This first project shows how I used the ribbon on a gift box. The scallops is also part of the set.

I also used the following Cutting Cafe sets on this box: ALL OCCASION TAG SET and THE 8 BY 5.5 INCH BOX WITH DIVIDERS....There is also a special going on until Sunday night with these sets included....click here for that.

 Up next I decided to enter the CRAFTY RIBBONS CHALLENGE #22, CLEAN AND SIMPLE CARDS Again I used the BOW TIE template for the little bow on the t...The sentiment is from the FEB 14 set.  Be sure to check out what the other people did....they all rock.

 

This next 50 SHAPED CARD I played along with CAS-ual Fridays #58 where you had to use PINK as your main focus but keep it simple...UGH...I probably went a bit overboard on the simple. I also used the BOW TIE template for the yellow and white bow.

 AND finally here is a little project using some fun ScrapnFonts items...the long sentiment rose is from a set called FLOWER WORD ART I also used the

EVERYDAY MINI WORDS WITH SENTIMENTS....PRINTABLE STAMP SET

from the Cutting Cafe.

FOR MY TIE-RIFIC DAD - 365 CARDS

It's inspiration time over at the Cutting Cafe today....the team is featuring lots of projects for our dad's............yulp Father's Day is this coming Sunday...boy I sure do miss my daddy, but I know he is in a better place....
Okay for this weeks inspiration I decided to box up the tie that my daughter is giving her dad this Sunday.
I used the CUPCAKE BOX  and the FOR MY TIE-RIFIC DAD SET....

I tried my best to match the papers with the tie....He also has a matching lavender shirt to go with this tie...I think this color will look MARVELOUS on him....hehehehe..

RED WHITE AND BLUE ....I LOVE YOU

hehehehe....today I decided to do a little challenge over at iSpy Sketches. I have always admired Tobi Crawford's work......she totally rocks. I get her daily emails and saw a fabulous sketch from iSpy Sketches that I thought I would give it a try.
I used the new READY FOR THE 4TH MIKALA ANN that I thought was perfect for the sketch ISSC19.

HERSHEY KISS PROJECTS

Hello everyone....with school just about coming to an end, I have 2 fun and quick gifts for your kids teachers and or your graduating kids. Both projects use HERSHEY KISS BOTTOMS....

First is this HERSHEY KISS WINDOW BOX. I used the GRADUATION HERSHEY KISS BOTTOMS in this gift set. I also used the GRADUATE TAGS which comes with the background as well....This was so quick to make, you can also put a little money inside the box as well.

 

 

 Here is another project using Hershey kisses, this time I used the SCHOOL HERSHEY KISS BOTTOMS with the SCHOOL MINI WORDS and the APPLE TREAT BOX...decided to do green since I love green apples.

 

 

 And finally is another word shaped card....HAPPY FATHERS DAY
