KIDS SAY THE FUNNIEST THINGS

Okay we all know that kids say whatever, whenever they want, well my 6 year old just came into my office and I said to him, what is your daddy doing? He said .... "OH HE IS IN HIS OFFICE DOING NOTHING" and then my 6 year old said "AND I GOT A RING AND I JUST GOT MARRIED, BUT I DON'T KNOW WHO I AM MARRIED TO".....................oh my, he doesn't know but he had me laugh so hard when he left the room.

MY SWIMMERS

Well we are back from Disneyland...........okay my leg, arm, side, butt etc.........hurts so bad...We did alot of walking, eating and just having to much of a great time....But I am so glad to be back home...Here is a picture of 3 of my swimmers........they just couldn't wait to get home to put the pool up.....My oldest (shown in the picture by himself) put the pool up all by himself today....he will be 15 next week......great job considering this is a pretty huge pool.......(you know those huge pools you can get at Costco). The kids love it to death......but we have a surprise for them...we will be getting a built in one...(maybe as soon as the end of this year)......Water here I come...yeah right....we will see...we are seriously thinking about putting one in the ground.

WALL DECOR FOR MY DAUGTHERS ROOM

Here are two picture frames that I did for my daughter's room......I bought these frames at Aaron Brothers awhile back..........Her room is pretty much all pink right now...you can see it here: http://i41.photobucket.com/albums/e258/CUTUPS/ebony.jpg So I thought since she is getting a little bigger, I would make this really cute quilt with black, pink and hot pink in it. Anyways I used my expression to make the huge flower at 6 1/2 inches from the George cart. The leaves are from the Walk in my garden at 1 and 3/4 and the stem is just a piece of chipboard.......the scallop at the bottom was done from the Disney shape cart.....can't remember the size...I was going to doodle around the border of the picture, but the paper is kind of slick and it would have smeared......now I need to make the quilt. Hum maybe I will make a wallpaper boarder..........maybe even paint the bottom wall lime green.....what do ya think? By the way you can find some really great deals on Cricut cartridges and the new EXPRESSION macine over at Hallmark Scrapbooks......

SOME GRADUATION PICTURES

Okay this week has been a really crazy week.........I had 3 little graduates this week......My little Benjamin graduated from kindergarten..........My darling Ebony from Elementary and my oldest child from Middle school........all on a different day this week...Here are a few pictures of my graduates.........I still have one more child...he is going into the 7th grade, so he will be able to watch over his baby sister going into middle school.

THE SUNNY DAY IS GONE

Well remember the sunny yellow card that I posted a few days ago, well it is gone, it is raining like cats and dogs now....Here is my little Benjamin playing in the rain.

My Sons paper piecings

While I was making my little ribbon box today, my 5 year old son was busy making some paper pieces layouts....I asked him what they were and he stated that one was A RAINY DAY WITH FLOWERS COMING UP and the other was called THE SUNNY BEACH...After he told me what they were, (you can see his writing on the top of the pictures) he asked me was I going to put them on EBAY....hum maybe I should...It's an original.
