THE CUTTING CAFE MEETS BBTB WITH LOADS OF GOODIES & A BLOG HOP

Yes two of my favorite places are meeting up and bringing you loads of goodies...To thank all of the awesome bbtb readers and personal readers of my blog, I am sponsoring the BBTB with LOADS of goodies from THE CUTTING CAFE....several of the bbtb members are combining one of the FRAME CUTS from the STORYBOOK cart with one of their favorite CUTTING CAFE sets...AND they are also giving away that set on their personal blogs, so there are 21 of us in this hop.......which means there are 21 different sets up for grabs......HOW COOL IS THAT....I myself am the very first person to start off this hop....but before I send you on to the next designer, which will be at the bottom of this post, here is my take on using the FRAME WITH one of my newly released CUTTING CAFE PRINTABLE STAMP SETS called SWEET STUFF...You can view this set here...it is yummy with over 20 images...
I also used the CANDY BOX from The Cutting Cafe to hold the pink m & m's....(got these colored m & m's at Michaels)
Mostly all of the supplies/papers are from K&C company...(amy butler)..boy I sure do love this set. Rhinestones by Recollections and artbeads.com., rubons - american crafts, glitter paper - doodlebug inc. designs.

OH FUDGE......I FORGOT YOUR BIRTHDAY & A NEIGHBORHOOD FRIEND

..........Okay everyone I think I am in love with the latest release over at The Cutting Cafe...if you like Popsicles, ice-cream, cupcakes, suckers and cakes...you are going to love this set..it is full of SWEET STUFF...(smile)..the set contains 20 different images...you can view the whole set here. I also recently released one new HUGE ARROW...this arrow is perfect for layouts...look for more of these to come soon......plus some much smaller ones for cards and such...also you know if you ever want to see ALL THAT THE CAFE has to offer, you can always go through the ARCHIVES...it will show everything from day one of opening the cafe site......okay on to the yummy card....
I have always loved the phrase OH FUDGE....so I thought this would be an awesome card for like a birthday...the inside would read.... I FORGOT YOUR BIRTHDAY...or something to that affect...isn't the ribbon yummy...it came in my monthly ribbon kit...gotta check it out..it is a new company called the RIBBON SHOPPE...i love me some ribbon..

Okay isn't this PEACOCK BEAUTIFUL......believe it or not, it was outside my house- on my car, on my neighbors roof......we are surrounded by wetlands and sometimes we get little beauties like this close to home....not sure where she/he is now......I can only hope he/she is safe.

BABY YOU'RE THE LOLLIE IN MY POP

Hum that has such a fun sound to it....Believe it or not, this card I made for a SKETCH...gosh I have been missing out on a lot lately....I did this card for the latest sketch over at 2 SKETCHES 4 YOU...I can't believe that I haven't done one of their sketches before....Kazan and Laura are two of the most beautiful, talented ladies I know and their 2 SKETCHES 4 YOU site is the BOMB I tell ya...........They have been so successful with their site and I am so proud of them....anyHOO, the cutting cafe site is sponsoring them this week...ya gotta get over there and check out what the design team did with a few of my sets from the Cutting Cafe, pure gorgeousness I tell ya....This lollipop shaped card comes from one of the new sets over at The Cutting Cafe...I guess I will send this to my hubby...he has been a good boy lately...(he he he)...I didn't put to many bells and whistles on it so that it could some what seem like a guy card....Mostly all papers on this card are from Basic Grey...

My next project is the latest take on the bbtb challenges...the challenge was to use the smile or frown face from the wild card cart....I used some fun kc company die cuts with this card and some goodies out of my scarletlime kit.....be sure to check out the other ladies takes here....

TEACHER PROJECT AND CUTTING CAFE SPECIAL

I think I might be a bit late on the Teacher Appreciation week, BUT.............hey school isn't out for another 3 weeks, so I am sure it will be fine to give my son's teacher a little gift ANYTIME....before school is out...One thing that my son's teacher is ALWAYS asking for that they need extra in the class is GLUE.....so I thought in addition to maybe a gift card, I made this 2 piece set....Papers are by Reminisce (I can count)....but all of the other items are from The Cutting Cafe:This long window box is from the cafe site.....The Thanks Teacher circle word is from the cafe site.

This smaller square box has glue sticks in it...I used the Candy box from the cafe site to make this box.

I also use the TEACHER BACKGROUND stamp to cover up the glue sticks.

IT'S GREAT TO BE 8......................

Sorry I have been missing in action lately.....I just got back from Hawaii a few days ago and boy I have so much to do ALREADY...ready for the next little vacation (smile)...

Just thought I would pop in and share the card I just made for my little one's 8th birthday...we just got back from the store where he was allowed to have a little shopping spree.....so he bought; skateboard, bike, lego's...etc...........believe me he had fun.....I will try and post some pictures of him on his bike a bit later....but here is the card...I used some really fun BO BUNNY PAPERS and see that cute little TIGER, well it comes from a new cd called AT THE ZOO...it is a PAZZLES cd...boy I love this cd...


AND...........here is one of many pictures of me and hubby on our trip...I will post more later...

THE BBTB FIRST BUG BLOG HOP.........

Yes, I am excited to announce that the BBTB is now BLOG HOPPING....or shall I say we are now having our first BUG BLOG HOPPING...and I am starting it off................so here is my take on the new challenge this week...the challenge was to use the BORDER feature with any cut on the DOODLECHARMS cartridge....I must say that I love this challenge this week...the girls did an awesome awesome job....you can view all of their takes here..................I decided to use the present in a border and then make it into a present shaped border card....

Just a few phrases to describe my new projects for tonight...did ya know that Mothers day is just around the corner...YIKESSSSSSSSSSSSSSS....boy these hoidays are coming so fast....Well I have just released another ALL ABOUT set over at the cafe site....The last ALL ABOUT set that I designed was called ALL ABOUT CUPCAKES....well this new set is called ALL ABOUT MOM.. and there is a little bit of everything in the set to celebrate your mom or just to let her know you love her....this set isn't just for MOTHER'S DAY...there are also a few MUM'S sentiments for all of you that call your mom MUM......here are 3 cards I made using 3 of the images from the new set...there are 41 images in all.......................Make sure you visit the site for this new release because if you purchase the set by this Tuesday night (midnight) April 21st, you get to choose 2 other sets for free...any two sets....here is the link to the new set.

A FEW PROJECTS TO SHARE........................SPA DATE

Wow, can't believe I actually managed to do, 2 cards between last night and today...Both of these cards feature images from a new set of BACKGROUND stamps over at the cutting cafe...these background stamp images are HUGE...perfect for layouts, cardmaking and more...There are 7 new background stamps:
GRID, CIRCLE, SMALL O, SMALL O FRAME, SOLID DOT, TINY SOLID DOT, TINY SOLID DOT OPEN.............. each are at least 7 by 8 inches....plenty big....
This first card FOR MY FRIEND, I used the TINY SOLID DOT....I changed the color of the dots to pink...........used some fun kc company die cuts, creative imaginations paper and doodlebug designs paper...., hero arts rhinestones, kc company pearl...see that beautiful silk ribbon and flower on the ribbon, well it came for SWEETARTS PAPERIA ..............they are now selling ribbon kits...I used to belong to a ribbon club a few years ago and I loved it....Not quite sure what happened to them, but I am so excited that krista and Penny's company SWEETARTS PAPERIA . is now going to be selling ribbon kits....hopefully one day, they will offer a monthly club of delicious ribbon....I don't know about you, but I put ribbon on EVERY project I make....so I am really excited about their new venture...they are giving a set of their first ribbon set as a prize over at the bbtb site...you can get details here.....You can also get more information on this ribbon kit here....



My next card uses the SOLID DOT background stamp from the cutting cafe...I just changed the color of the dots to deep brown and printed on white paper...my middle school son will be graduating from middle school, so I wanted a more boyish card for him....this card also uses the HUGE GRADUATION CIRCLE stamp from the cafe....along with some paper by My Minds Eye (Penny Lane) pattern paper....
DON'T FORGET TO STOP BY THE CAFE TODAY, THE 2 FOR 1 SALE IS STILL GOING ON UNTIL MIDNIGHT TONIGHT THE 14TH OF APRIL...
