FLOWER POTS, BANNERS AND CUPCAKES.....

HE HE HE....Hello everyone...just popping in to share my last 2 projects...I mentioned the other day how much I was loving the cricut cake...well I am still loving it, BUT...I will confuse..it takes up a lot of time and isn't good on the weight...I will be the first to admit that I love to eat cookie doe and cake mix...always have and probably always will, BUT.....THEN THE POUNDS WILL START TO COME ON....anyhoo, I am now on the fence about keeping it or not..I originally got it for my daughter...so hopefully she will start using it or...........ELSE....okay so here is a little cupcake I did the with cricut cake..the butterflies are made from the machine using the cake basics cart...the CUPCAKE HOLDER is from the cutting cafe....Next is another new release from the CUTTING CAFE...FLOWER POT SHAPED CARD...I love this shaped set...it comes with a few sentiments also....see the video of how I made this below...I am so trying my best to get my videos clearer and sharper...I am using a flip hd...wondering if maybe i need to use a video camera and maybe on this last one...the lighting is to bright...any pointers are welcomed....

CRICUT CAKE COOKIES..............YUMMY

Hello everyone...well my Cricut Cake came in yesterday...and I spent all day yesterday and today working with the machine....it is totally wonderful....I am slowly but surely learning the different mediums I can use with the machine...these cookies were made using a sugar cookie receipe along with some Cutting Cafe files....I used the All OCCASION TAG SET, STRAWBERRY SHAPED CARD and the BEAUTIFUL TREES cutting cafe stamps for the tags...I think my daughter and I will practice on some cupcakes and a regular cake this weekend....
the tree was made for Earth day tomorrow
apple and strawberry cookies are for my son's teacher....
I used the following cartridges:

This cute little Strawberry shaped card is another new release over at the Cutting Cafe..I used fabric on this berry...I love how it came out...also great news, my sister is opening up an online store selling fabric strips and such....The bow on this card came from one of her sets...I love working with fabric..it adds a shabby look to everything..you can find her shop here.....I did a video as to how I made this card below the pictures....have a great week...

1ST BIRTHDAY SET.......CARD PATTERNS..

Hello everyone...decided to do another card challenge today..This time the challenge is from CARD PATTERNS...their site is FABULOUS....I used the 1ST SHAPED CARD SET from the CUTTING CAFE along with the NESTING BOXES to make this little project...all of the papers are by Doodlebug inc.I also had a full tutorial on this project......but guess what...I accidentally deleted some part of the file and it disappeared.............so I did a simple video below... just giving info about the card....thanks for looking and have a great day...hugs

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE

The sweet and fabulous Carole Lowe Beath was our host this week over at The BBTB2....she asked the team to use the rick rak cut from the Plantin cricut cartridge....this is such a fun cut...I decided to make a birthday card using one of the background stamps for the CUTTING CAFE called HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUPCAKE....along with a cute cupcake from k&company....

Hello everyone...well I decided to play along with the 2 SKETCHES 4 YOU site today....Laura and Kazan are so awesome...I used the new EARTH DAY and RECYCLE BACKGROUND sets from The Cutting Cafe...I don't really celebrate Earth Day, but I do believe that RECYCLING is a good thing...(although I am the first to say, I don't do it), but I do put the plastics and all in the right container for the garbage pick up...Anyhoo, have a good night....I will be going to see Why did I get married 2...tomorrow with a few friends...can't wait...

CUPCAKE WRAPPER EASTER PROJECT

....I can't say that I am totally happy with them...(kind of blurry), so if anyone has any pointers for me...PLEASE BE TOUGH ON ME AND SHARE....this video making thing is kind of addictive...geessssssssssssss..but I gotta get it looking better...OKAY ENOUGH WHINING...

Here is the card and envelope that is one of the videos.....I used the new LONG SENTIMENT TAGS from The Cutting Cafe...I really love these long tags...it is fun to make different size cards ....it is going to my middle son who will be 15....he is the one that was born on a Easter Sunday 15 years ago....and it wasn't even his due date...take about special...having the same last name and him being delivered that day....his birthday has only fallen on Easter one other time...Here is the Envelope I made to go with it...I used the HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU set for the CUPCAKE on the card and the BIG STUFF SENTIMENT set to make the envelope...I thought I would share a Easter photo of my kids...I have been taking a bunch of photos of them lately because I want to surprise my mom and my mother-in-law with a nice framed photo of them on Mother's Day...THEY ARE 8, 13, 14, 17

AND LASTLY, I am thinking .......TONIGHT'S GONNA BE A GOOD NIGHT......we will be going to see the BLACK EYED PEAS IN CONCERT.............yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee...I so need to go have some fun....hugs

I'LL TAKE ANY FLAVOR....365 CARDS CHALLENGE

Hum I had to think for a minute as to what title I wanted to give this card...I thought about I LIKE ALL FLAVORS....YOUR JUST MY FLAVOR......but I didn't want to sound to FLIMSY...if ya know what I mean...so I stuck with the I'LL TAKE ANY FLAVOR..not that this isn't FLIMSY..oh well.....I couldn't resist not doing this challenge over at 365...the challenge was to use 10 different pattern papers on a card and this ICE CREAM from the ICE CREAM CONE SHAPED CARDS over at the CUTTING CAFE was perfect.. I have always loved this set...so................I used 10 different papers from just about 10 different companies...and the best part about it was that I used up some scraps...YEAH ME....I did enlarge the stamp at all...I just kept on adding more and more layers on top of layers...I then added a bit of Martha Stewart glitter to the edges....be sure to check out the other ladies projects for this challenge...SUPER DUPER CUTE...huge

UR....FABULOUS....TUESDAY TRIGGER & 2 SKETCHES

Wow what some FABULOUS inspiration over at TUESDAY TRIGGER & 2 SKETCHES....this card was based on the colors of TUESDAY TRIGGER and the sketch of 2 SKETCHES 4 U...I used another one of the new background stamps from the CUTTING CAFE today called FABULOUS....this can be used for so many different projects...I printed the words in kind of like a soft grey to go with the awesome new K&COMPANY paper...be sure to check out all the new backgrounds over at the CUTTING CAFE...have a super day...

Wowzer what a nice day it has turned out to be...Love it...I decided to take on the new challenge over at MOJO MONDAY today...Love the sketch for this week..I teamed it up with a new background set from the CUTTING CAFE..called SO TWEET..it comes with 2 sentiments.......there are several new ones that have just been released....I used some fun K&Company sticker and the dot paper is by American Crafts..The huge scallop is from the ASSORTED SCALLOP SET over at the CUTTING CAFE...thanks for visiting me today and be sure to check out what the designers did over at MOJO...OUTSTANDING...HUGS

BIRTHDAY BOX........BBTB2

Hello everyone....My fabulous friend Susan Edwards was our hostess this week for the bbtb2 and she just celebrated her 25th....he he (50th) birthday Sunday...HAPPY BIRTHDAY again girl....anyhoo the challenge was to use the Cake from the SWEET TREATS cartridge...that cartridge is totally SWEET....I decided to make a cute little box and fill with some yummies for someones birthday....I used the PENCIL BOX...(I CUT IT DOWN IN SIZE) from the CUTTING CAFE and I used the BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION background from the cutting cafe...The circle word comes from the ALL OCCASION CIRCLE WORD SET 1.By the way, there is a GIVEAWAY going on over at the CUTTING CAFE along with the announcement of the new additional ladies added to the team...GOODNESS these ladies ROCK...you all are in for a real treat with their work..so be sure to visit the site, there are several designers that will be giving cafe sets out......have a great week...hugs

BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS.......................

AWE....I do believe Spring is just around the corner...It is beautiful here to in California....This card set comes from the new BEAUTIFUL BLOOMS set over at the CUTTING CAFE....can ya believe it I DIDN'T USE ANY RIBBON...I just wanted to make a sleek, no fuss set to give to my mother for Mother's Day...I used some fun Basic Grey paper for the whole set...all of the vases are done in pattern paper while all of the sentiments and flowers are done in plain oh black lines with just a tint of embellishing here and there...like a little glitter here, a rhinestone there etc....then I just added a kraft scallop backing to all of them...Here is the box they will all go into...the box is the STATIONERY BOX SET from the CUTTING CAFE...it holds 6 cards and envelopes ...JUST PERFECT....I used some of the same Basic Grey pattern paper....See that beautiful rose...well my sista Sharon Caudle sent me a few of these....LOVE THEM...I added a bit of glitter to the rose...Well I think I will make another set for my Mother in law....Thanks for visiting me and have a wonderful weekend...hugs

B IS FOR BIRTHDAY.....365 CARDS.....

Happy Sunday to you all and HAPPY MUM'S DAY to all my UK friends...I hope you all are having a FABULOUS day...just two fun projects for me today....first up is a cute colorful box using the NESTING BOXES from The CUTTING CAFE and a new background called COLORED BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION....this background comes already with fun colors on it as well as in black...I thought this would be a fun little box to give to someone filled with goodies on his/her birthday...the top word circle comes from the ALL OCCASION CIRCLE SET 1.....for the colorful scallops on the black lid, I just punched out a bunch of different matching colors from the background paper and added to the lid underneath....
Up next is my take on one of the new challenges over at 365 CARDS...the challenge was to use circles...LOVE THIS CHALLENGE....everyone is doing a wonderful job with this challenge...you can play along here...Again I used the the BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION background, but I didn't use the colored one...I used the black one and colored it in dark brown....I also used the B SHAPED CARD SET along with the HUGE HAPPY BIRTHDAY WORD CIRCLE...topped off with a yummy cherry from KC company....Well that's it from me...it is so beautiful here today...think I will go for a walk in the neighborhood and then come back and do some gardening...hugs

AN ELEPHANT, TRIGGER AND A MUMMY..............

Goodness what a title......he he he....Just trying to get back into the grove of things from a little vacation that my husband and I took last week...we had so much fun together...AnyHOO...okay up first, I decided to play along with THE PINK ELEPHANT...first time for me...those girls over there are AWESOME to say the least...their challenge was to make ANY type of invite............SO........I used the CUPCAKE SHAPED CARD INVITE SET from the CUTTING CAFE...This little set is perfect for invites...it comes with invite information ...you can find the set here....and then I topped it off with a word circle from the ALL ABOUT CUPCAKES set...love that set to...I did a bit of stitching on the bottom...Up next is my take on the new TUESDAY TRIGGER........I so love me some green checks....I decided to use the 6 BY 3 bag set from the CUTTING CAFE...this gift bag can fit lots of goodies for someone and comes with lots of cut outs...you can view it here.....see the little flowers...well those are from the HEART FLOWER SET...this set is great for making flowers because they come in different sizes for easy layering....and the little sentiment comes from the ALL OCCASION TAG SET.....the scallop border at the top is one of PAPERTREY.INKS new dies..LOVE IT...AND finally is just a little card to celebrate MUM'S day coming this SUNDAY...I hope all you MUM'S have a wonderful MUM'S DAY...you all deserve it...you can find the MUM block and a MOM'S BLOCK HERE.........that's all for me today...but before I go, be sure to check out the design team call over at the CUTTING CAFE here....HUGS....

FOR YOU COFFEE LOVERS..............

Hello everyone, well I have had many request for a coffee set............so...I decided to do two sets...One is called GOT COFFEE and the other is a background colored stamp set called COFFEE BEANS...

On this card I used the GOT COFFEE? set....this is a fun set with lots of images...I used some fun Basic grey papers on this card...for some reason, I am so into yellow these days............I also made a cute little box using the CANDY BOX from the CUTTING CAFE...I think I will fill this with some coffee hard candy..If that wasn't enough, I also released a COFFEE CUP shaped card...my hubby is a true coffee lover so I decided to make a card for him........so.............NO ribbons and fussy stuff on this card....just basic and to the point....the inside reads YOUR THE CREAM IN MY COFFEE...
